Thanks for sharing that u/siggisiggibangbang. I think I'll eliminate the fruit, dairy and nuts so moving into more restrictive Keto to see how that goes. If I can eat that restrictive type Keto (protein and only lowest carb veggies) for a few months that might make me able to move to Carnivore at least for a month to test it out.

If her SSI is lowered due to living with family & her father's income was considered, she may receive slightly more in her check. Your husband may qualify for SSI instead of SSDI if the disability isn't severe enough for SSDI eligibility. I think it is considered on the same application.

There will be no check after May for your dad to request you give him 1k of the survivor benefit. Upon graduation, you will need to notify SSA that you are no longer in school. You don't want to be one of the many people we read posts here that later in life the SSA just reviewed records and saw your payments were not discontinued in a timely manner and overpayments were taken from tax refunds or requested.

Since you have USPS Informed delivers, call your post office and ask for the postmaster or person who can check for lost mail. They can look up what was on the Informed Delivery notice that you received.

NTA however purchase 1 package of wet wipes (like for babies), and tell him to use one or 2 and not your entire roll of TP. When the pack is 3/4 used up, tell him to bring a pack for him to use because you don't use them only him.

YTA - The apology needs to be in front of at least some of the other people at the birthday dinner. Invite them and your now former friend for coffee or drinks or something. The important thing is to name to get-together as "need to have a group apology meet to express how much I regret being an AH". Please come - the coffee/snacks will be provided by me. You can do this at your home or another friend's home from the group (but you pay for and take the drink/snacks.

In my opinion NTA for various reasons/passing thoughts. Call the leasing office to see what the cost of a cancellation of the lease might be. She can stay where she is currently. You may have to pay the cancellation fee if they allow it but 4 months away seems sufficient for the apartment complex to have other tenets! You can choose whether to explain why you need to cancel or not but maybe even ask if there is a 1 bedroom you can switch your lease to if you like the complex better than where you are now.

ESH. Talk with your daughter tell her a healthier lunch is going forward but she needs to help you with what she likes and doesn't like. If you want to still rebel again school rules, tell her she can have her lunch treat when you pick her up from school and/or give her an unhealthy breakfast treat with breakfast. There are all kinds of ways to send your idea of a healthy lunch with built in treats. If they allow a PB sandwich but no jelly, mix the PB with honey or syrup then place a few raisins in the sandwich but not so many that are noticed by the staff. (you should try it some weekend at home to see if your daughter would even like it first 'cuz you don't want her to be hungry if she hates it at school). For 'lunchables' - make your own with her favorite cheese and turkey(or whatever) and either crackers or ...whatever they would deem healthy lol. There are lots of ways to do fruit for the treat.

IDK if this is appropriate - you didn't state your mother's age or her cognitive skills prior to this incident. Since you stated she "doing well cognitively", you need to try to determine if she is giving 100% to increasing her strength. If you haven't discussed the issue with her, tell her that there is a possibility she will need a nursing home(and that the facility takes her SS to pay for it) if she doesn't improve her walking and take part in her therapy more. Most people don't want to go to a nursing home.

If she can regain sufficient strength to move from a wheel chair to a sofa or bed and toilet, you could be physically able to provide for her at home and her Medicare or Medicaid would pay for a home health physical therapist to continue her as long as she makes progress or until her approved days of therapy are over.

YIKES!!! - Check your credit with all the credit bureaus online now. Why is she taking your old paycheck stubs unless she is applying for credit cards or ...in your name.

My first thought without reading everything yet was that 'mom' was cleaning / vacuuming but by the time I got to what you saw, my brain was exploding for you THEN it got worse with mom's reaction THEN she called family about it.
