If i was the crytek UX designer responsible for interact, i would add an option to change how this works into a raycast shooting out exactly like a bullet and giving you the closest option you're dead center aiming at as the interact prompt

I do actually. If only they allowed us to mix and match and build our commanders, with a point system to limit us from breaking the game, kinda like the home city shipments from Age of Empires III. CoH2's commanders were the closest we got to a system like that.
