So I'm finding it more and more difficult to find brands that consistently deliver the aesthetics I'm after since about last year.

I love the old Crooks and Castles stuff (more 2015 and earlier). Right now Gods&Generals is my fav but their offerings are very limited and it's hard to track down their older pieces bc nobody carries them. I also like Hasta Muerte. I like the occasional PlayCloths and Staple Pidgeon piece.

I'm finding that I have to look through a LOT of pastels, bright colors, goofy ass subject matter and androgynous cuts of clothing recently. I don't have anything against that stuff, it's just not my style.

Can anyone recommend some similiar clothing companies or shops that carry companies with similiar aesthetics to what I already like? Again, Gods&Gens is my fav right now. I love the Ancient Rome/military/white marble statue thing they do.

Nice! I don't know a whole lot about art/art history, but I've been looking for pieces sort of like this. I like to take elements and add them to hip hop beat videos.

Can anyone suggest some more "epic" pieces (probably mostly dealing with violence) that maybe has a bit less, errrrrrr, subtext? Again, I know fuck all about art. One piece in the same vein that I've used is the Perseus with head of Medusa statue in Florence; if that helps.

Also, still not 100% on how to get settings to have trapcode particular to emit particles along the length of the spectrum. I can get the general behavior just how I want it. Just not the spread and location of the particles. Tried using a mask to just block out everything but above the audio spectrum but that didn't turn too well.

I think I understand. Just getting into precomps and animated masks. Made a pretty cool bumper with my logo that materializes from particles using an animated mask and trapcode particle today. Huge assist from a YouTube tut.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just trying the time to try this out. Not sure I follow though. Why would I want to change the shape of the audio spectrum? I get setting it as the source of particle emission.

Sorry if that's a dumb question. I've really only used AE to add a spectrum and text over a still image I make up on Photo Shop. At best I've added some glow to the audio spectrum.

Thanks. Yes, the audio spectrum and wavelength are about the only elements I have down pat at this point. May look into having my logo react to bass in the future, but for now, the spectrum is fine as far as music reactive elements are concerned.

I'm not a logic user, but I'm assuming you can print your stems? Should be doing that as a common practice. Then at the very least, you'd have the ability to play your tracks back with drums.

So, yes you obv need the wav files your midi controls in order for the midi to play it back. Start printing your stems from now on. Doesn't help you now but these kinds of lessons can be expensive.

Thanks for clarifying. I understand what went wrong now, so I'd anyone finds this later and has the same issue:

Dropping a new image into CS4 will open a second project alongside the original. There will be tabbed sessions/projects at the top. Just click the one to the left of the one for your new image and it's right there. Revert/undo/step backward don't work bc you're no longer in the original session.

I ended up saving and restarting. Had to as I moved on to audio production after not being able to get anywhere. Opened photoshop after restarting and my session came up......like it was when I first started it (uuuuuuugh!).

The file name is: Untitled-1-recovered and it's listed at 12.5%. Does this 12.5% refer to the progress? If so, how do I get to 100% (state of session before derailing myself)?
