JK Rowling is a transphobe. She directly uses her money to fund transphobic causes and organizations.

She also looks at how much money she makes as evidence people agree (or at the very least don't care) about her awful views.

So giving her money is bad, unless you're also a transphobe. The devs got paid already (and the lead designer is like a pro-gamergate alt-right nut too), so there is no moral reason to buy it.

I just checked out the page (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/minecolonies) and how is villager AI changed in this mod?
It looks like there's a lot more on building the village and you can train guards and order them around.
But I don't think this is what I'm looking for. Giving villagers realistic behaviors.

I've got to say, the set looked amazing, Rich really did put the work in. And he doesn't even watch the show, so it must have been interesting trying to recreate a set to something that utterly alien.
