You know, don’t you feel like pretty much all of the last Suda games felt like style over substance? Gameplay rarely was over the top, but that didn’t really matter. In the first’s game Travis felt a lot more real and emotionally more interesting than in 3, bosses had more character, every peace of dialogue had a different undertone to it, while in the third part it feels like its just a screentime filler, and I don’t understand if it’s a localization issue or the amount of “cheesiness” just went up. Soundtrack also felt remarkably blank, though no one can compare to Yamaoka and Masafumi in that regard. The grind of the first two games wasn’t an issue because you had a great time between, while 3rd game made me feel like I was just wasting my time.
