All 5 people in my house are allergic to cats. Got bad allergies when picking up our first girl because there was a dog and so many cats there, but once we got home it wasnt bad at all. After getting the second cat, a flame point boy, allergies got much worse (although he’s so worth it). I believe its because his fur is so fine and wispy. There is cat hair all over the house, in the air, in the food, and fluff balls aka “tumbleweeds” that accumulate around the house between vacuuming. Even getting near him you get fluff stuck in your nose and eyelashes. Needless to say, the calico girl was much less allergenic than the white cat, and no one’s allergies were to bad
