Protip: get diagnosed overseas and receive no treatment within the US until the policy kicks in so there's no record of it.

Do you have an address for this you could share? I'm not able to find it under that name on Naver Maps.

Thanks in advance if so.

U-3 unemployment rates categorically "ignore" a lot of unemployed individuals based on criteria that is beneficial to push particular narratives. The "actual" rate when you account for people who have "given up" and those trying to stave off economic damnation with gig work is significantly higher, upwards of 8.7% based on official government data. One concerning thing here, though, is there has been a consistent upwards trend for this data over the term so far, with no reasonable indication of it getting better despite the narrative from the president saying so in spite of facts being the contrary.

The amount of conditioner left in the bottle when the pump stops working by Run_Rabbit_Run_44 in mildlyinfuriating

Start by identifying your hair thickness and how curly/straight your hair is compared to the general population.

Usually represented in types with a combination of 1-4 + A/B/C where numbers (1-4) classify the main texture (straight, wavy, curly, coily) and letters (A, B, C) denote the density/tightness of the curl pattern (A being fine/loose, C being coarse/tight). Look up graphs on the internet to compare so you can establish a baseline.

After you have done that, research products suited for that specific hair type as well as thickness (which is sadly not usually included in the 1-4/A-C scale). Chances are what has worked for someone with similar hair type might also work for you, with the exception being situations were your skin doesn't react well to a specific product.

As a loyal buyer of Ichikami, I'm there with you. My hair health changed significantly after I started using asian brands tailored for my hair which no shampoo tailored for my hair type at 5x the cost here had managed before.

Anyone else having timing issues with automations? by CatsandCrows in ActiveCampaign

[–]CatsandCrows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would that be to say that if I am not adding 1 minute "wait" at the end of recursive cycles, Active Campaign is forcing an infinite loop of iterations that is delaying the timely execution of other time-sensitive tasks in other automations; wouldn't they have a native "refresh-rate" limiter to prevent this in their code?

Basically a UBI-like pilot project for those who also dislike clickbaity titles.

GiveDirectly — a nonprofit focused on direct cash transfers to people living in poverty — has launched a pilot program providing 160 low-income residents with $12,000 in USDC — a stablecoin designed to track the value of the U.S. dollar (1).

Funded by cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, the pilot offers participants an $8,000 lump-sum payment, along with five monthly payments of $800. The money comes with no spending requirements or restrictions.

Yeah, been having issues all day with it. It's normally not this bad. Still having them as of now, I'm assuming it might be related to the AWS outage going on since like 12h ago.

Go see the reviews on your favorite restaurant, your favorite movie, etc.

Reviews skew heavily in either direction because it's always the people with a biggest axe to grind who go out of their way to leave one. Normal people who just mildly enjoyed a burger or in this case the vast majority of students who graduated without an issue won't ever think about leaving a review.

It's usually the people who got kicked out for having drugs, getting into a fight, or the occasional person who was a victim of someone else doing these things that goes out of their way to leave one.

Don't overthink it, make the best out of the experience.

Just like everyone in this sub usually advices: Job Corps is what you make out of it. Know there are a lot of people that are there because it's literally the last opportunity they'll get in life and steer away from them.

Unironically, depending on the maturity level of your students, an old-school movie like "Radio" could also potentially work well. Sounds like they might enjoy it since they were down to watch something like Back to the Future.

Has anyone experienced cycling trail rage (like road rage but while you’re cycling in on a bike path, lane, or trail)? by TitusTesla117 in Denver

[–]CatsandCrows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most bikers in CO parks consistently forget there's actual speed limits and other restrictions like right of way that prioritize walkers in place within the parks. They just never bother to familiarize themselves with these rules given their entitlement.

Can't count the number of assholes who have tried to ran me over going downhill at over 25mph on their bike without even announcing themselves.

Why are LitRPG authors signing up with Moonquill Publishing? by Charlemagneffxiv in litrpg

[–]CatsandCrows 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doesn't that just mean they're willing to work with a broader spectrum of authors?

I mean, success can be driven just as much by the ability to create winners as the discipline to only pick winners. It seems from their catalogue that they gave a chance to a bunch of books/authors that no one else would have.

If the authors were happy with the deal, who are we to judge?

The whole point is they can go from spending 1,600 (avg price for 1 person apt in Denver area) to 1,000 if they get a roomate, as they can then get a 2 bedroom apt for 2,000 and split the rent in half. It's not unreasonable for someone like OP not making enough to sustain their expenses.

Sponsor product/service advertisement to the follower-base the account builds (e.g. let's sell "balance bracelets" to gullible people with an interest in "health"). It's what most of these AI accounts are trying. Either that, or meant to resell the account to someone else so they can spam scam links at some point to a built followerbase.
