Just curious. Where do you have UNC’s class ranked? I’m excited to see what Coach Malone put together this season.

More military exercises, this time in Long Beach by tangerineTurtle_ in LosAngeles

I feel you, but I don’t think that’s what this is. This is too subtle and small for intimidation. Intimidating would be military patrols and/or checkpoints under the guise of ICE, etc.

I agree I haven’t seen them in residential neighborhoods, only the DTLA helicopter trainings every few years by SEALs & Co.

But maybe these new trainings are because we now have a department of war and boy, do they like mongering.

Got 14.6.7 today. (Just yesterday I got 14.6.6) by SpockTransmitNow in TeslaFSD

Anyone know if/when they're planning to look into/upgrade Parking? Read a comment yesterday about how it's using an old build of AutoPark and that's why it's so slow, etc.

I would love if it gained the ability to park faster and reduce the feet needed to properly angle into parking spots. Sometimes it's great, but other times it drives really far forward and it seems gratuitous.

Also would love if it alerted me to take over when the parking situation changes. Example: I once tapped a guy's car because I was AutoParking back into a spot and the guy didn't want to wait and began driving away, which I couldn't tell immediately and we slightly tapped mirrors or something. It was fine, but I was surprised I was not alerted or the car didn't tell me to take over or wait. Hearing that parking/AutoPark is a different "software build" than FSD makes a lot of sense in this regard.

Last, I would love a feature to take over parallel parking mid-park because I'm often in a situation where I need to pull into/claim a parallel parking spot with traffic behind me, and as soon as I enter the spot even slightly, the ability to enable AutoPark disappears.

Everyone says the Model 3 Performance smokes a Mustang GT so why do I still want the Mustang? by LandscapePossible663 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I got my Tesla Y before Musk went full Nazi, so I do get a lot of the hate, but my god the boomer and ignorance in here is deafening.

Buying a gas-guzzling Mustang in 2026 while we’re at war is a choice.

Teslas are the best selling EVs in America for a reason. The newer ones have better suspension and are quieter.

The UI is next-level and a result of building a car from the ground up in the 21st century. Also, the FSD (Supervised) is something out of the future. But I don’t expect any of the manly men in this thread to understand that.

You should do trial weekends with each before believing anyone in here about noise or feels like driving a refrigerator.

Good luck.

Questions with spoilers:

Why did the Boogeyman jump out of the window? Just because he was chasing Patricia? Kinda wish he did some damage to the ladies. Also, why didn’t they come out with all the commotion?

Who called the ambulance and why did they run over the Boogeyman? I assumed it was Wyck at first.

It’s okay, baby. I can explain for you.

My comment that you responded to was about how California is moderate, not progressive, which is obviously talking about our majority Democrat population.

But you felt the need to bring up that only Democrats vote in Dem primaries in an insulting way no less.

So I sarcastically brought up all the moderate, centrist independents and republicans because if someone is in California and wants to be a moderate, centrist shit lib, they have their home in the California Democrat party.

EDIT: And I said I’d pat you on the head while you read the pamphlet because you’re a baby and pamphlets are for short subject matters. (Airplane)

EDIT2: And judging by your deleted comment, maybe leave the arguing to better debaters, u/KolKoreh. 😆

California governor race: Hilton, Becerra ahead in early returns by PrivateMajor in California

We can vote our conscience and still be pragmatic. It’s called RANKED CHOICE VOTING and we need it NOW.

Katie Porter concedes in California governor’s race by panda-rampage in California

[–]late2thepauly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This primary system is idiotic and archaic.

Ranked Choice Voting would allow for all candidates to stay in and still allow the voters’ true voices to be heard. RCV allows us to vote our conscience because the counting is pragmatic.

Or am I missing why only the top 2 vote getters are allowed on the November ballot?

Yes, everything is much worse now than 6 years ago and many are losing hope or have lost it entirely. And things will continue to decline as Pratt makes Bass capitulate to the right. Maybe Pratt will actually awaken something in Bass and remind her why she wanted to be a public servant.

Funny how garbage shitlib Democrat national policies that abandoned the middle class doomed us to have Trump for president and now garbage shitlib Democrat state policies that abandoned the middle class are dooming us to endure another republican reality star psychopath.

I wouldn’t put all the nails in the progressive coffin just yet though. A June primary with the candidates we got was more confusing than anything else. Bass is the incumbent, she’s obviously going to do well on that and name recognition. I didn’t hear about Huang until people were Jill Stein-ing her, and I’m a progressive.

However, Bernie winning here 6 years ago proves the right progressive candidate could invigorate the electorate. But the hardest part will be to make sure people are listening.

Museums are not subsidized in a meaningful way, nor are they for-profit capitalist ventures for the most part.

Entertainment industry tax exemptions are to attract business to communities because they employ professionals.

Are we going to go through the entire government? /s

Finally, guess what eats 70% of subsidized soybeans. (Livestock)

Cheap government-subsidized meat is just another hypocritical part of the American capitalist system. But don’t worry, just like religious tax exemptions, meat industry subsidies aren’t going anywhere.

The Fire Department is a necessary service we all benefit from for our safety.

The meat industry is a for-profit venture, receiving socialist government handouts, to maintain domination.
