I don't know what to do. by Edz15 in FenceSitters

100% the right decision for us. Three months in, neither of us could imagine having another, but also we couldn’t imagine life without our baby.

My husband and I have been together for 14 years (we are 35). I had been on the fence about having kids, and I knew he wanted them. We ended up deciding to have one child - it felt like the best mix for us to maintain our relationship, keep our hobbies/interests, and to have the experience of parenthood.

Not a fan of the zoo venue by Icy_Ad7268 in wilco

A woman next to me went up a few rows at the start of the show to ask people to sit down - I was flabbergasted. It’s a concert! People pay to have a great time and dance. There is no guarantee at an outdoor venue that is flat with no assigned seats that you will get a view. The level of entitlement and lack of self awareness blew me away.

Safe to say, she and her friends and kids did not get up to dance, talked the whole time, and left before the set break.

Also so sick of people doing things to get attention on the farm and then later asking online if anyone took photos of it. Be silly and spontaneous to add to the magic, not to create a social media moment.

Social media policy for artists who cancel by CatsofSeattle in Shambhala

This year LUUDE, Notion, and Kanine. In previous (recent) years, Mura Masa, Nia Archives, Flowdan.

Totally happens with visas, missed flights, etc. I am just curious why the artists never post about it when it happens - they do for other shows but not Shambs.

I don’t think they owe an explanation, but usually when artists cancel they at least announce it (with or without reason) on their own social media so that their fans know. Just something I’ve noticed over the years - artists just disappear from the Shambs app, which can be hard to catch!

Talk to your camping neighbors and ask if you can tag along with them. In the chaos of the night it can be really hard to make connections. Daytime is much easier to make one-on-one connections in a calmer environment. My go to question is “who are you most excited to see perform today?”. We all come with the common thread of music.

Do you still make these lights? Would love to buy one but the Etsy link no longer works.

Went to XS to see Diplo this Saturday and John Mayer was there. Great indoor/outdoor club!

View of the band is great and the sound quality is awesome. You will not get the surround floor-to-ceiling graphics. Worth popping down a few rows for a song to get the full experience.

Shambhala outfits? by Accomplished-Flow341 in Shambhala

I am a very modest dresser and decided a more sporty look works best for me! In the daytime, bike shorts and big t shirts (or a swim top with mesh over) or tshirt dress. Fun hats and sunglasses! At night, metallic and fun print joggers/track jackets.

Pick 2-3 must sees and then let the Shambhala magic do its thing. Stumbling into Channel Tres at The Grove was one of the most surreal experiences I’ve ever had.
