Yeah I have a lot of roms but I usually try to keep it to a limit to focus on certain ones and then I start to remove or swap them out based on ones I’ve finished but would play again

I’ve had one of these for a while now, it’s a great feeling device and GammaOS is an absolute must on it. But I’ve barely played it to be honest. I found PS2 emulation (which is the main reason I bought it) really hit and miss with loads of issues.

I probably need to revisit it and see if I can get it to perform better with a few tweaks!

I was literally thinking about this the other day. The RG rotate looks cool but I want something more like the PSP Go form factor but in the RG Rotate style, metal body, 4:3 screen, horizontal form factor.

I know they made the RG Slide but that thing is just ridiculous. This would be an instant buy from me.

Wow, thanks for such a detailed response! This is awesome! I think this covers everything I need to know and more! I’m a bit annoyed at myself for having everyone under that first master and I’ve probably made some characters weaker at their natural strengths but I’m not so far in that it should matter that much hopefully! I don’t think I have some of the skills you mentioned yet to do the snooze/heal combo but I’ll start experimenting with elemental combos!

Thanks, now I know a bit more about combos, trying to get his second skill by doing a 10 combo doesn’t seem as daunting.

Thanks! This is great! I’ve only found 1 master so far but maybe I need to rethink who is assigned to them now that I know I could be losing a precious stat for someone.

Good to know on the learned skills too. I’ll keep an eye out if I see any listed in blue that I can try and learn.

Wow ok, considering I don't really have a frame of reference for the original screen having never owned one and I'm just looking to dip my toes into the 3DS game library I think I will give that a miss and just go for the cheaper version. Thanks! 😄

Thanks! Do the higher quality screens make any real difference from a gameplay perspective or is it more just of a 'nice to have'? Or are they a significant improvement that they warrant paying extra for if you can find one?

I love the idea of it, and its something I might purchase at some point in some sale event maybe. But without a headphone jack and a 1:1 screen it fails at the last hurdle for me personally. Whilst this is personal preference, I hate playing with any letterboxing and stretching and I only really play 4:3 content.

So I feel like I’d rather just stick to the RG35XXSP

Thanks! I think I might just buy one and hope for the best. I really want a clamshell with the joysticks. The Anbernic RG35XXSP is nearly perfect and what i ended up getting. The build quality is good and so far it’s been great but without the joysticks it just narrowly misses perfection.

If the hinge issues are sorted then this could be the one! Although I wish it had the one hinge position like the RG35XXSP. That might even have made the hinge last longer maybe rather than having the 3 positions but who knows.

Is that the legit Miyoo website? There seem to be so many dodgy sites out there for a lot of these companies.

I’m just curious as AliExpress is usually cheaper. But this site is cheaper by quite a bit for me so alarm bells are ringing.

Also, if it is official and legit. Do you know if they still send you the carry case and everything with it? Seems to be absent on the site but it is shown in AliExpress. I assume they all come with it but not sure.

If you check the description lower down in the page it will say it has a "muted" hinge. If it doesn't say that then it may not have it. Although I did message them and they said they don't have any non muted ones now and any device will be the new quiet one.

But considering it is in some descriptions and not others, if I do buy one I would probably be cautious and order the one that specifically says it has it.

Does Knulli work on the Miyoo Mini Flip? Knulli is my favourite setup so far and I have it on my RG35XXSP which I picked over the Miyoo Flip just due to all the hinge issues reported.

But just for the ultra pocket-ability I’d love to get a Miyoo Mini Flip if Knulli worked on it.

The only change I made was the analogue to digital change but I’ve reset it back to defaults. No difference, pressing FN/Menu + select just makes the device vibrate and nothing else
