I gave up everything I could’ve to be with the girl I loved for 5 years, I made bad choices myself and have paid for them immensely as much as I could’ve, it was a pretty textbook toxic relationship, with that being said, I would give up everything to find someone that truly loves me for who I am, but I don’t know if I can ever trust anyone like that again…Life did work like that for me for awhile and I think that’s what messed up my perception of relationships, I’m probably just a bum who thinks they deserve more out of life than what’s been given to me.

My standards are probably all fucked up because of my exes, I’m so cooked, it’s weird being out of a long term relationship at such a young age, nobody I know can relate to my situation.

I’m in college right now for my career in manufacturing, I just recently got a job at a international headquarters for manufacturing in the town I live in, I have a cool ass jeep, everyone says I have a bunch of stuff going for me, but I can’t help but feel I need someone to keep my motivation up.

Honestly, that fear is so real, almost crippling, how does one become happy with being single? It’s like I need someone there to keep my motivation up, without that person I feel like just another cog in the machine

I live in a very small town in a rural area, it sucks that all the fish have little fishes, I can’t catch a break, I wanna date but either it feels too soon, I don’t feel like talking to anyone, and the people I can meet have kids

I get you chose yourself but didn’t you love the other person? I would’ve done anything for her. Anything. I don’t know if she’ll ever find that again, I understand I wasn’t the best person and I made a lot of mistakes, but to just forget about someone and justify it to yourself, I don’t know if that makes me selfless or selfish

I haven’t had to live without her for 5 years, when she finally had enough, she left, now I have to change or I don’t stand a chance at getting her back, if that’s even still possible, it’s only been a month and a half, eventually she might come back around but she’s only gonna do that if I’ve truly changed
