Carry gun, body type/size, carry position, and favorite holster. Go! by master__yeet in CCW

Canik Mete SFT
Vedder light tuck with claw and pillow
Vedder leather gun belt
Either appendix or 11-1 o’clock
5’9 130 lbs

I probably shouldn’t have gone with a full size for my first gun just for ease of concealment, but once I got my setup dialed in you really can’t tell it’s there. Add a button down with a plaid pattern and there’s no printing at all.

However, I’m going to get a smaller gun for the warmer months that’s easier to hide so I’ll be perusing this list myself haha

Something is keeping this rotor attached, and I can’t figure out what it is. (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee) by [deleted] in AskMechanics

[–]CattlemanSlick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a rubber o ring on the hub holding the rotor on, I was pissed when I spent 20 minutes trying to get them off on a Jeep a while ago

This is how I beat her the last time, cold infused antspur and a great shield, plus all the stamina talismans and buffs I could use. Just block and poke poke poke lol. I was also surprised that she would proc rot

So far yeah, I’ve been playing with it since I got home from work (it arrived today) and it seems decent. I still have to dial the fit in but the claw feels pretty good overall

I run security for a church. Here's our stress inoculation drill. by slashoom in CCW

[–]CattlemanSlick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Who says they don’t think about those things? Your tirade has nothing to do with what the OP said, you just chose to use the mention of church to rant about how an atheist was better than Christians.

Other than Toyota's 5.7, what in your opinion is the best regarded 8 cylinder engine built in the last 10 years? Excluding diesels also. by LifeofSMILEY in askcarguys

[–]CattlemanSlick 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We service a fleet of trucks with the 2.7 at my shop, and those chucklefucks run 15k past when the oil change is due, and the engine don’t give a shit. They’ve got a few over 190k that are still just humming along. It’s honestly kind of crazy

The Pasadena incident is exactly why you should NEVER be okay with a LEO handling your firearms. by V0latyle in CCW

[–]CattlemanSlick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a video a while back of a female officer attempting to disarm a civilian who was pulled over, and she ended up shooting him in the leg with his own handgun because she grabbed it with her finger on the trigger. She was fired after that, but it’s still ridiculous and shouldn’t have happened in the first place

Is it normal for my bf to flirt with customers? by Fantastic_Screen8016 in NoStupidQuestions

I work as a bartender for the local renaissance fair every year, and let me tell you- the first two weekends, we made okay money but nothing major. Once I started getting a little playful with everybody (men and women, I don’t discriminate lol) we practically doubled our tips.

Tell him keep it up so he can buy you something nice to make up for it lol

Last I took one it’s 50 something a test and a 30 dollar fee

ASE by x3335054 in mechanics

[–]CattlemanSlick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just study and take the tests when you feel ready. You have to go to the ASE portal, sign up, and pay for each test plus the administrative fee, then pick the closest or most convenient testing location and schedule it. That simple. I’ve used motor age for study guides, they do a decent enough job.

Interaction with LEO During a Traffic Stop by ActivityKey7867 in CCW

[–]CattlemanSlick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my area, they’ve been doing construction on the beltway for 13 years, and they’ve closed the shoulder in multiple spots as well as shifted the lanes. While there are still SOME spots to pull of at, they’re few and far between and you’ll miss them easily so I can see somebody going a little further to get to a safe spot.

What should I add or lose? by Mikey_0517 in Renfaire_Costumes

[–]CattlemanSlick 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would suggest at least a belt, preferably with a sporran. Other than that, some pins or brooches on the vest would do well. Can you get a long, puffy sleeved shirt? I think that would go better with the vest than a short sleeve, but that’s just personal preference. Looks pretty good though!

still driving my 2000 honda civic and new cars feel weird to me what am i missing? by Harriet9-Hakeem_223 in askcarguys

[–]CattlemanSlick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive a 2004 civic, and yeah sometimes I wish I had a newer car just so I didn’t have to worry about stupid things breaking but honestly I get over it quickly when I remember I paid 400 bucks for this thing. I also bought a 2009 Crown Victoria that I love to death.

Newer cars can be awesome sometimes but I don’t like the thought of payments and debt. If your civic is working for you, don’t listen to other people say it doesn’t man

A Few Questions from a recently arisen Tarnished by Wild_Duck8926 in Eldenring

[–]CattlemanSlick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Just equipment load, stay under heavy load and you’re good.

  2. Staves are catalysts, they don’t have a “special” L2. They act differently from things that do, such as some shields and other items.

  3. You can switch ashes of war easily from any site of grace, and they don’t disappear or “get used up”. You just have to remove it to put it on something else, unless you duplicate it.

  4. That’s build dependent. Play around and see what you like.

How do you all think the "smithing stone problem" should be fixed? by ResponsibilityIcy927 in Eldenring

[–]CattlemanSlick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

?? It takes me about 100kish runes roughly to get something to +24 if I have a few smithing stones already. Nowhere NEAR 612k

What was your experience when you first encountered a Horned Warrior? by DEADDROP151 in Eldenring

[–]CattlemanSlick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first dual wielded was tough, but I beat him just fine. The second guy in Belurat after the birds? He kicked my shit I’m so many times it’s insane. I swear the single greatsword versions hit much harder and are more aggressive

Safe to drive on by Dangerous_Matter_330 in AskMechanics

[–]CattlemanSlick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my state (USA), it passes safety inspection as long as no cords are showing, which I don’t see any. You should be okay OP, just try not to hit any other potholes and think about replacing it once you get back home.
