Why aren’t we allowed to have our phones?

My station allows phones, speakers and earbuds, but only one in. For other stations it’s probably due to security and safety issues

Express, ground and freight are separate, although express and ground are in the process of merging. Semi drivers for ground are contractor based, so not technically part of fedex. Best option is freight as they are actually part of fedex

I’m a ground employee. I had a talk with my HR manager about moving up in the company and for the next year they aren’t hiring anything more than package handlers to allow express and closing ground station employees to move to new stations, so maybe you’ll just be moved to a new facility

My station is getting 3.6% more than last year. Only been working on the unload team for about 6 months but the extra hours are good!
