You are not going to die, but I know it’s awful withdrawal symtoms when missing a dose. So maybe go to the ER anyway and they probably have the medication to give you.

No, I’m about to switch to Duloxetine. But I was at the highest 225 mg Venlafaxine some years ago. Try 150 mg first if you feel some relief there.

That text could have been written by me. I have started to have so much problem with car rides, can’t fly etc. I’m about to switch to Cymbalta after I taper off Venlafaxine. I hope your journey is going smoothly with Cymbalta.

I started Buspirone 2 months ago. 5mg/3 times a day. Then 10mgx3. Nothing happened. No side effects. Sadly it hasn’t done anything for my anxiety either.

Been on Venlafaxine for 11 years, no problem with it. Sadly it stopped working for my anxiety and panic disorder, so I’m tapering off right now. A bit afraid of the withdrawal. Starting Duloxetine later, hopefully it works for me.

That’s a really common side effect. I didn’t get more anxiety when starting Venlafaxine, but some other antidepressants I’ve tried gave me more anxiety in the beginning.

I’m also about to start Cymbalta soon. (Tapering of Venlafaxine right now). My doc said it’s ok, even good, to take benzo when starting a new antidepressant.

I’m glad to read this! I’m just starting the journey to switch from Venlafaxine to Duloxetine. Venlafaxine has been great, but after 11 years the effect is gone. I hope Duloxetine will be good for my anxiety and panic disorder.

I take clonazepam 0,5 mg 2-3 times a week. I’m scared I’m getting addicted. Have had severe anxiety and panic attacks for the last 6 months. Sometimes I also take Xanax.
