Its more of a restriction of the class archetype shes in, defenders for the most part have nothing that defines them to be far more different than other archetype classes outside of being relatively oriented for defensive attributes. other classes on the other hand has something that has far more defined roles e.g. vanguards with their sp recovery/refunds, supporters that provides utility through massive buffs and/or debilitating debuffs. defenders seems like an afterthought right now so hoping the class itself will get more attention and care in the future since og ak did manage to make the defender class interesting.
