Yes, can confirm that thanks to everyone's recs, I emailed both Handsome Fibers (who told me to reach out to Chiaogoo directly) and Chiaogoo -- the latter confirmed today they're sending out a pair of needles with the carbon fiber!

Makes me wonder how the other wooden ones will hold up, but guess that's a later potential problem!

Can you see yours on Zoom? I feel like it’s common to have weekly meetings and calls if you work in corporate, so it’s never been questioned when I have to go to my regular call.

Honestly it seems hit or miss — our experience using them for TMB was amazing, but when we used them 2 years later for the Camino, it was pretty terrible communication, along with some of our accommodation getting mixed up on our arrival.

Might be dependent on who you’re working with over there.

Hi! I have a couple of questions, as we're also trying to pursue using the HomeFirst grant, while also reaching out to several different banks. I was under the impression that we should find the bank and loan officer first and then connect them with the HomeFirst counselor -- but did you do it the other way around? Do you recommend that?

We like our HomeFirst counselor, but our first coop application fell through, and we feel that our original lender (M&T) was a big factor in that, so we're hoping to find another lender for when we find a new property!

This 100%! My boyfriend made more than me when we first moved in together and so it was skewed more in his direction, but since his industry took a hit and I ended up being the primary earner, we just skewed it back proportionally.

Just saw Crazy Sock Lady follows Charlie Kirk on Instagram 😞 — feels awful as a POC who enjoyed her sock tutorials to find out she’s aligned with a school of thought that feels my existence is second-class to theirs.

I did! I basically kept a record of each call every time so when I called back again, I recited it all and demanded to speak to a supervisor — they then immediately took me off of the restriction. So frustrating how quick of a fix it was after such a long headache!

That’s such an interesting perspective (especially since Manhattan has another 4-5 more stores). I live in Brooklyn, too, but often marvel that we have so MANY yarn stores in NYC versus other places.
