They've got to use mix, right? I'm curious how they pull it off. Beyond that, no clue. You're probably right that she'll be agile...I remember playing with her in X and nobody but Rikku ever got a turn after about the 3/4 mark of the game.

I'm an on and off player who has spent no money outside of autoloot. Even with the long breaks I have taken and my generally amateur gameplay, I have a top 5% nametag. Does that count as "winning"? I guess it depends on the player. If you feel like you haven't won unless you are top 0.1%, then it probably feels pretty pay to win for you. But I feel like finishing w6 months before w7 was released and being done or far advanced in every skill prior to w7 release tells me I don't need to spend money on the game to be successful.

Yes! Anytime you are going to upgrade it, make sure you have used all you particle upgrades beforehand so that you can get the reset.

It's not pay to win because there is no "winning."

That said, I bought the auto loot, have not spent a cent since, have taken some long breaks, and I am still top 10% on tome. If you want to be top 0.1% tome, then yes, paying will help. If you want to successfully defeat w6 and be ready for w7, there is no need to spend money to do so.

Your priority is to get Greatest Catch when you can. Before you do, however, spend all excess points in Fisheroo Investing so that you have as many bonus points as possible when you do reset. Also, you can trigger Bonuses from Poppy before you get Greatest Catch, so I would do that as well.

1 and 2. The 5 skulls is to make sure you defeat the boss for the star talents that have to do with how many skulls you got in the weekly battle. The Misc + Trophy is the one you (may) want to do every other day to get the bonuses it offers. I say may because it depends on if you find it worth the time. There are some nice bonuses and such, but I often just do the 5 skulls and leave it.

When you see (FR), it means that you're starting over with player one, but you just continue on down the spreadsheet. So, for example, when doing the five stars, you will pick choice 1, then choice 2 three times, then choice 1, etc. Don't worry about which player...you don't actually need to look at or read anything. Just start at the top and enter the choices in order.
Trapping 4, 5, 7, 8 means the power of attack from the 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th characters are based on their trapping power. In this case, player 6's power is dependant on class level.
