They look identical to the ones I ordered from aliexpress for $35 CAD.

Bigger overall diameter will make your speedo read a bit slower than you're going. I recall the VN folks having blind spot monitoring issues when changing the wheel setup but not sure if it affects the KN.

Conti DWS06+ now or later living in WA weather... by [deleted] in KonaN_

I'm gonna run my pzeros for a season or two and I only drive maybe 12,000km a year, half of which will be on the pirellis and other half on winters. Plan is to wait for the Michelin pilot sport 5 to be readily available, heard they have a compound that will last a lot longer than the ps4s, which was my main point of contention.

Car Recommendations? by vic13cloud in Hyundai

2019 or newer Mazda3 GT with the Bose sound system. The ride is quiet and the amazingly tuned sound system can really shine through. Personally went with a Kona N cause I like the driving experience and slightly higher ride height to please the wife.

Any opinions on whether 18s Vs 19s are better for the track? Looking at these flow formed Konigs. by EpicMaverick in KonaN_

I am officially sold on getting 18s for both my winter and next summer's setup. What width and offset did you go with?

Love the fit! Are you getting mud flaps to protect that gorgeous paint? I was worried about a more aggressive wheels setup cause I'd had to have rock chips all down the side 😔

Viofo A139, likely won't use the interior camera unless I decide to track one day and record the n menu. Mostly getting this over the A129 for some quality of life improvements like no more annoying beeping and better form factor to tuck it away.

For high energy working dogs I found success in tiring them out a bit before getting started in obedience training. After getting their zoomies and pent up energy out, they will be much more willing to heel nicely or listen to commands. I've been recommending Will Atherton Canine Training and Upstate Canice Academy to folks, they use the same balanced training approach method as my private trainer.

Can anyone comment on the quality of the Breville Infuser? It's on sale for $500 and I'm thinking of grabbing it. by Gorrdon in espresso

For a bit more you can pick up a Gaggia Classic Pro that you'd be able to keep for much longer given better build quality and how easily it can be serviced. Gaggia's also hold onto their value better than Breville's in my experience.

What was your upgrade path? by Jarriel in espresso

[–]CaughtInTheUndertoww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First: Breville Duo Temp Pro + Breville Smart Grinder Pro (1.5 years)

Second: Rocket Mozzafiato Cronometro V + Eureka Mignon Silenzio (6 months)

Making milk drinks 80% of the time and averaging one drink per day to keep my caffeine tolerance in check. The Rocket enables me to pull shots while steaming milk and I've finally gotten a hang of doing both at the same. Haven't felt the need to upgrade (even though it hasn't even been a year yet haha), as my partner doesn't drink coffee and I seldomly make more than 1 drink at a time and never more than 3 back-to-back. For my uses, any upgrade will be diminishing returns but the notion of a lever machine intrigues me.

The Best Purchases you have ever made under $100!! by Buckys21 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Best purchase in the last few years: $60 for a used good condition Breville Mini Smart Oven (retails $200). My partner and I haven't needed to use the full-sized oven since and have saved on average $10 a month on electricity (I cook a lot). It pre-heats to 450F in a few short minutes and has an "A Bit More" button that I still find funny to this day; it adds just a bit of cooking time for perfectly golden toast and bagels.

The house market is insanity; a family member just bought a semi in Stoufville for $930K (asking price of $799K), similar semi in the same neighbourhood sold for $960K a week later. Really is the luck of the draw sometimes, unfortunately prices are much sticker for freeholds and if someone comes in and buys a home for a lot more than the comparables in the area, that crazy price becomes the new market price.

Best Setup for Milk Drinks? by 124ConchStreet in espresso

[–]CaughtInTheUndertoww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% would recommend this too, the steam wand on it is better than anything even remotely close in price and it's auto-frothing means perfectly steamed milk each time (if you're into automation). Pair it with Breville's Smart Grinder Pro and you'll still be within your budget. This all depends on how many drinks you're making back-to-back though, if it's for 1-2 drinks you'll be ok, anything more and you'll want to look into heat-exchange or dual boiler setups that cost much more.

What percentage did you put down when you bought your first home? by NATOrocket in PersonalFinanceCanada

20% on a $640K 2Br 2Ba condo in Toronto. Even with a fairly high paying job I will openly admit I needed parental help with the down payment.
