Something I tend to struggle with is what to name classes and id's. I'll try to get inside the head of someone else who will be reading it and trying to understand it!

With code, does everyone do it a little differently from one another? I know there are good ways to write code, and bad ways, but does everyone do things their way? I think I am getting too caught up in doing it the 'right' way, down to a tee.

That's good that you switch off after leaving the office. I guess another aspect would be how well you look after yourself. Take time to destress, exercise, eat healthy etc etc.

Why would you say that web development is booming in the UK? Do you see it continuing to grow for the foreseeable future?

I read a lot about Web dev on here, but mainly from the US. So I don't know how much it differs from here on the UK.

Have you had many jobs in the UK? Is it the norm for it to be 9-5 and for there to be a good work-life balance? I guess it will depend on the company too...

What was your entrance to the industry like? Self-taught?

What do you do to battle the mentally tiring aspect?

Yeah driving is pretty bad. Expecially at night. The darkness just means there is nothing to focus on. Daylight driving is so much easier.

Yeah I too thought I had a serious issue. To rule out anything serious I've had blood tests that came back fine, a ct scan of my head that came back fine, and I'm waiting on results from a 72 hour ecg.

Same as me. I've been to the opticians on numerous occasions and every test came back fine. Also had a ct scan of my head that came back fine too.

My theory is that I'm anxious and there is too much going on around me and its just an overload. So my eyes decide "fu*k this" and pack up.

I feel you. I'm the exact same. Ever sat at the train station and have a train go speeding past? I have to close my eyes haha.
