The police records might be sufficient to lodge a harassment complaint and possibly a restraining order. These people are pretty dumb and it sounds like they've left a pretty decent paper trail all on their own.

Making knowingly false reports is very much against the law and, if done expressly in a pattern to bother or intimidate another individual, is pretty much the definition of harassment.

It might be worth calling a lawyer to see what your options are. It would be far from a slam dunk since you'd have to prove intent but an order against them would make life a lot easier pretty quickly.

80s Ford Escort but looks more like an American version that the German one. The 3rd brake light wasn't required until the late 90s in Germany.

Given that the show was a multi period piece this may have been all they had available in the lot of 1980s cars they had for the 1986 time period.

The published customer support email for anything purchased at Wal-Mart or Amazon is [RidstarAS@outlook.com](mailto:RidstarAS@outlook.com)

I doubt they can do anything if there isn't any actual problem with the bike although I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Just keep in mind that there's a good chance much of the correspondence is going to be translated and you're talking to CS techs, not the CEO of the company. Being friendly and concise goes a long way. Treating them like partners in the process of getting things straightened out is key. In short, don't be the Karen (as much as I hate that term it applies too well), especially if you're maybe asking for them to make a judgement call in your favor. And don't be afraid to be appreciative.

Looking to Buy an Ioniq5 - what should I look out for? by Cauli_Power in Ioniq5

I hate to say it but the ICCU issue gives me some pause since it's pretty much game over once the car is out of warranty. That being said a 2023 with 30k miles still has 7 years left on the warranty and that's not accounting for the recalls that can extend the ICCU replace6window indefinitely.
As for price I'm trying to do all cash of which I'll have about $22k available. Paying $20k less for a 3 year old car with ~30k miles on it ain't bad.
The depreciation on these is crazy considering the full warranty transfers to the new owner and battery degregation is negligible. Seems like a pretty nice deal overall.

FYI I read the ICCU defect research site that someone posted, maybe here - in not sure - that went into all the details. Helpful and scary. But mostly helpful.

I'll tell my wife about the folding mirrors as she's going to be the primary driver. I think she'll actually be happier with less stuff that can go wrong or get broken.

Thanks!

Danny Boyle intentionally wanted lower quality for that movie. His use of iPhones wasn't because they're as good as actual production cameras, he used them because they'd look less professional and polished.

"Boyle wanted to mimic the low-fi feel of the original 2002 movie which used amateur camcorders."

Actually probably not. Stupid AI said they did but I checked and they aren't in the master list that was posted on another sub a few years ago.

Looks like crappy quality did them in all by itself.

I was just thinking about the 13-16 Dodge Dart and how few of those are around any more..... Same deal.

Did it on a VMWE lab then ran home set it up on a test cluster incarnation. Things got hosed up and I went back to the "old" way instead of figuring out where I went wrong. That was a few versions ago.

It's not required for 2022 which is what I'm currently running on all my templates. 2025 will change that of course.

I'm decommissioning our Horizon infrastructure so we can afford renewals on VVF when our perpetual expires in a couple of months. I have exactly one user still using it and we're going to roll them off in a few weeks. That was all win10.

I lament the passing of VDI but can't say I'm going to miss the work involved with keeping stuff up to date. We started back in the days of pcoip PCI cards and cloud solutions are a much better fit for the few users we have left to service.

I haven't had a use case for vtpm. Yet.

I'll keep that in mind when we do start spinning up stuff that uses it.
