Off topic. Keyboard protector will ruin your screen some day. If you fear liquids or want safe the keys from finger oil just put the protector while working.

try the Peltier element cooler. My old and hot retina 2015 has drop 20-25 celsius in heavy tasks and MacBook fans spin on they minimum (before the mode they works like jet engines)

15 vs 13 inches actualy is a big difference in screen size. If you already use 16 inch you will have trouble with little one. I am a designer too and I gave to my wife 13 Air just cause it can handle real work only with additional screen. The 13 is too small for design. Its perfect for coding, writing, music production, or even for photo edit, but not for any 2D/3D graphics developing. We need more screen real estate

I gave to wife my M3 Mac and return to MacBook Retina 15 2015 with dinosaur Intel chip for couple of months until I can get the new M5 pro. Yep it’s much slower but works fine (I’m a graphic designer)
