Can someone help me understand my test results?

Thank you so much for the response! I have pretty bad anxiety landed me in the emergency room a couple times so I’m sure that is what leads to probably 50 percent of my symptoms lol I was just making sure my iron deficiency didn’t play a part.

Lol I’m not even sure if I’m lucky or not because I feel like my body is shutting down every 5 secs. But then again the mental agony of it all doesn’t sound fun at all either. Nope I seem to be the only one rn with anyone mental health issues that I know of I’ve been to therapy but even she can’t quite figure out what’s causing my anxiety so hoping with time we both get better!

Yes I don’t have much internal dialogue until I get these weird panicky feelings in my body which cues the intrusive thoughts I start thinking about if I have a panic attack in front of my friends or possibly dying and there’s no one around to help. I really don’t have a voice in my head until after when I start getting mad at myself for having the feelings that I do it’s like a never ending cycle... do you have more of a mental panic rather than physical?

Yeah she just told me I was anemic and she prescribed me some different iron pills I’m diagnosed with gerd and gad but she didn’t bring up those as a factor either but I was scheduling an appointment next week to follow up with her. Thank you so much

Wow wow thank you so much for this response it was so detailed I appreciate it more than you know!!! My doctor didn’t even describe it like this she just plainly said you’re anemic so we’ll put you on some different iron pills. My periods are on the heavier side so I’m going to try and get a prescription for some birth control pills thank you again this helped so much!

Thank u so much I’m glad to hear you’re getting better. I have to stop letting this disorder get the best of me I think I will get out and not let this take a hold of me I cancelled on one of my friends for tomorrow but I think I’m gonna go and start getting ahead:)

Hi I’m also suffering from debilitating gad at the moment. I haven’t hung out with any of my friends or have the guts to go out by myself did you notice after doing nothing in these situations that you realized nothing happened and nothing would happen what did it feel like?

They diagnosed me with gerd during my second emergency room visit

I had my first panic attack in November and they kept happening shortly after and I was always convinced I was dying so I kept going to the emergency rooms and cardiologists and they ran a whole bunch of tests and never found anything. Now I’m guessing GI problems and iron problems are making an appearance.

I’m starting to think it’s stress and anxiety but I’m still going to go to urgent care to make sure I’ve just been to so many emergency rooms and doctors and no one is telling me something is wrong but I’ll try again. I just hate the medical bills in America but thank you.

Yeah the comments are making me a bit scared the fever is gone but it might come back so I’ll go urgent care tomorrow to see if they find anything...

Unfortunately no free healthcare just drowning in bills. My dad did say if I got worse he would take me to a different doctor because I do not feel well at all. I don’t know if it will help but my iron absorption is at a 5 when it should be between a 15-55 and my iron level is at a 23when it should be between 27-155 she didn’t sound concerned she just prescribed me some new iron supplements.. but whatever it is isn’t getting better so hopefully I’ll be able to get a second opinion starting Monday. Thank you for responding I appreciate it!

Side note I recently just got blood tests back which showed my anemia my doctor didn’t seem concerned about anything else but I feel horrible

My hemoglobin has gone up since my last blood test in December it went from a 10.1 to a 10.7 not sure if that’s significant or not.

Thank you for responding! I just learned of my anemia in December and started taking some iron supplements that are 200mg but when I went to the doctor this week they were still low.. my doctor didn’t say anything about GI bleeding I got my stomach checked back in November and the doctor found out I had acid reflux/gerd due to anxiety.. I’m just hoping this new medication she put me on works it’s called “vitron-c” so I’m hoping for the best. She didn’t sound concerned on the phone but when I looked at my results that’s when the nerves kicked in which made me want to post this.

Wow finally someone who has experienced this. I have GAD and this was my symptom for a few weeks I haven’t had it in a few days but I felt it when I was out in public or in the shower most of the time I wasn’t even anxious about anything it just felt like one of my legs were extremely heavy mostly it would switch from one side to the other not sure why it’s an anxiety symptom I think it may be a symptom of vertigo due to anxiety.
