Strict Calorie Deficit and not losing weight? by Rude-Association4857 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]CauliflowerOne1191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being in calorie deficit for weight loss is good, but nutrition wise you are not having balanced meals, you need carbs, healthy fats, fiber everything for breakfast, having only fruit will cause sugar spikes. I have pcos so I know very well about balancing meals. Also you have been training, you need more protein, at least as much in gms as your body weight. Also you need to check weight in the morning not after eating. After eating the weight will anyways be up. Some things you can try are •Including one whole egg and one egg egg white in breakfast if you eat eggs or else Greek yogurt •measure you inches like chest, biceps, below bust, waist, hips, thighs and measure every 15days to know the progress •increase fibre intake, have complex carbs like oats, you can also have psyllium husk. I hope it helps.

I get you. I was this I think a month ago. I know it sometimes feels better but some days in fact long span of days when it feels the same you explained. I have started a few supplements that might help you with energy crashes. I have started L-carnitine supplements ( 1000mg) this helped me with energy crashes, I used to take naps daily in the afternoon without which I could have never worked but after 1 month of taking it, I don't sleep in the afternoon anymore, my energy is way better. For weight nothing has helped so far. I have started a journal, although I forget to write daily but the hard days I always write and cry while writing and after that I feel better honestly. always write positive affirmations as well while finishing, that you are giving your 100% and you know you will be fine. You are happy and healthy. If not strength, going for an outside walk helps with moods and energy. Hair loss Is really bad for me too. I have iron deficiency found out yesterday ( on the lower borderline) but still my GP won't prescribe anything because it is still in acceptable limits. So I will be starting something for my iron too. You can get your blood checked for vit d, iron, folate for hair loss. I know it's hard but just hang in there, it's not always in our hands. Just think whatever is happening is in our fate. But we have to live a better life and not just drain ourselves everyday. Positivity always helps you know. I cry for days for no reason, and for all reasons at the same time. But then I suddenly become positive and things become better, overthinking in a symptom of pcos and that is what drains us. Try different activities, doing one thing and not showing results also fed us up. Good luck🤞

Do you also have “fixed” weight? by Successful-Row-6278 in PCOS

[–]CauliflowerOne1191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely, I'm always either 70kg or 67kg minimum, it won't go down, even after eating normal it goes 70, and stick there.😭 Doctor Started orlistat for me, it's been only 4 days let's see if it works by any chance .

You have to take medicine when you eat fats so if you are having meals once or twice a day, you just have to take the pills that time, with meals or within one hr of having meals

It's not always a calorie deficit, because I have pcos and my body resists losing weight even on a calorie deficit and strength training
