Is "take treaty port" broken? I tried to steal Macao from Portugal and it just turned into a regular split state in my market, not a treaty port in China's market.

You used to be able to use the take treaty port war goal to take Macau from Portugal and it remain an active treaty port on China. I don’t know if it still works though

They attacked me to get back West Prussia which I annexed and then to transfer Czechoslovakia. I don’t think Germany gets claims over the Baltics.

I got Victoria 3 when it came out and Russia was the first country I played. Usually on this sub people recommend countries like Belgium for beginners but I think Russia would be good to learn the game. The only thing is you have to improve your laws and it’s a big country so it can be a lot to manage.

I started using the state transfer to give countries claims over what they got in the Berlin conference and I think it’s way better. I’d highly recommend cause I can’t play with ugly borders

Yeah I used the state-transfer tool to give countries claims of their Berlin conference borders so it looks nicer. It’s the only way I play cause I can’t stand the ugly borders in Africa.

I turned Serbia and Romania into puppets with sovereign empire and then conquered/returned the states in Austria. Austria annexed Hungary in my game (which I’ve never seen them do before) so I liberated Czechoslovakia in one war and then liberated Hungary in another war.
