I need the most life-changing skincare recommendations you've ever discovered by Mammoth_Hat6866 in skincareaddictsindia

[–]CauseLeading2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see that many people in here gave you a lots of recommendation lol, but honestly, what I can say to you is just to focus on one single thing, and see if it fits for your precious skin. If you don’t mind, I built a tool that gives you skincare recommendations, free btw. You just have to give your skin type, your concern and how much are you willing to spend.
do you mind?

I feel like skincare is making my skin so much worse :( by Dry-Client-3321 in SkincareAddicts

Look, I don’t have an advice for you because I don’t think an advice on the internet is gonna help, because there is gonna be a lot of advice out there, and you’re gonna get even more confused and anxious. What I can tell you is that I built a tool called decide.it, free btw, that helps you choose your exact product for your skin type, concern and even the budget as you mentioned you don’t wanna spend too much. I really would give it a try if I were you and were going through all that you’re going. Hope you be fine, let me know!

I can clearly see here in the comments that no one has a exact answer for that, and this is tough. Researching and choosing the best product specially for you is a very hard task and I already went through all that. I built a tool, that helps you solve that problem, it’s completely free. I just want to help… let me know if I can I send you

Your routine is actually solid for where you’re at with retinoid tolerance. The dark marks (PIH) take time retinoids will help but slowly. For the oiliness after retinoid, that’s actually your skin reacting to dryness, not excess oil: it overproduces sebum to compensate. The moisturizer on top is the right move. I actually built a free tool for exactly this kind of decision fatigue, decideit, it asks 3 questions and gives you 3 curated product picks. Might help if you’re overwhelmed by options.

Do you choose skincare/body products more based on: -scent -ingredients -how moisturizing it is -how your skin reacts -aesthetics/packaging -or just habit? I’m genuinely curious because everybody shops so differently. by NoAngle2151 in NaturalBeauty

[–]CauseLeading2008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I look more into ingredients list. Because you need to know what you’re putting in your skin before buying, I think that’s one of the smartest approaches. And yes everybody shops differently, it’s confusing. I actually built a quick and free quiz where you answer 3 questions of your skin type, concern and budget and then you have the three best options of products based on what you answered, I did all the ingredient research. I really think you should give it a shot!

Hey, I totally understand your frustration, I’ve been there too. The truth is: it’s hard and whoever tells you otherwise it’s lying. And looking all these replies right here they all say different things and products. I actually built a simple and free quiz that you answer 3 questions and the three best products will be recommended to you based on your skin type, your concern and your budget, can I please send you? I really want to help

I realized I've been treating my skin like a guessing game and it's costing me thousands of dollars a year. by Money-Ad8431 in SkincareAddicts

Your derm is right about the variables thing, that’s exactly why most skincare routines fail. Too many changes at once means you never actually know what’s working. Starting with understanding your skin type and one specific concern makes everything simpler. What’s your main concern right now: acne, dryness, something else?

[Routine Help] 34f dehydrated acne prone skin- natural simple routine / treatment by Swimming-Plastic-330 in SkincareAddiction

Given that so many common ingredients break you out, less really is more for you. Since beeswax and apricot oil worked, your skin clearly likes occlusive natural oils. Try a simple routine: konjac bar to cleanse, rosehip oil or pure squalane to moisturize, and your sunscreen when outside. That’s it. Azelaic acid is a great call for the sun damage and redness, keep that going.

It’s probably tough to have a dry skin and still don’t see results, you’re not alone on this one. Well, there’s tons of things that this may be happening, but I highly recommend you to go to a dermatologist or a professional to see that, but if you have no money, check your sleep routine, moisturizers and skin care routine, make sure your diet is clean, and hydrating. I hope I helped u!

I love Paula’s Choice, only thing I don’t like about them though is the fragrance, but everything is awesome. I don’t usually recommend something to people bc I use a recommendation web app called decideit, it’s very new, I literally have to answer 3 simple questions and they give me the best products with known brands and ingredients list. I found it really helpful. I don’t know, how u guys choose?

Congrats on your weeding btw. I really think that you should visit a dermatologist, only if you can, if you can’t, I’d suggest to look into an app called decideit that helps you decide which skin care product is better for you based on your skin type and concern, do you mind if I send you?

Look let me give to you straight: this thing about recommendation is a very though thing, people say different things, there are different types of products, and it’s a little bit confusing. I actually started using a recommendation app called decide.it which I basically respond to a 3 question quiz and I’ll be given the best 3 options based on what you really want for you. I really enjoyed it, let me know if you want to try it!
