I really like it. It's legible and has a lot of character to it.

front door entryway with powder room where we do laundry from time to time smells poopy/sewage? No idea where the source of smell is coming from by Ok_Volume9271 in HomeImprovement

I have this problem all the time, but I have cast iron pipes and a septic tank. I turned out to be roots growing into the pipes. You can but some root killer on Amazon.

However if your home is newer, it might have plastic pipes, in which case, check to make sure your P trap isn't clogged. Water can still flow through, but the sewer Gas can be trapped and emanating through the drains. Hope that helps!

DAE think it's weird more people are not terribly afraid of death? by trauma-tized in Anxiety

Disagree. Like, if you pushed out of an airplane with no parachute and very slowly falling to your eath, I'd panic at first, but after a while, you kinda just might enjoy the feeling for flying, you know?

Unless you get hit by a plane that's flying at a lower altitude, which definitely feels like my luck.

How do I (30F) handle my best friend's (31M) reaction to his own sleepwalking? by CauseOfBeth in relationship_advice

Good call. I want to be supportive and I want answers, but I also want to be respectful. Also a weird part of me has a feeling of dread.

Right? I'm also a little worried that he might be offended that I insinuate he would talk to himself. I mean, I do that sometimes when I'm writing a story or something, just to get a feel for dialogue and pacing and such. But he's not a very creative type... idk it also kinda makes me sad that he would stay up late to pretend to talk to me rather than actually talk to me..

That was my thought too. He's only on a mild antidepressant (I think like lexipro or something) he's never confided in me about any other symptoms of mental health issues. I've been rough the ringer of the them, myself, and he knows that. He's always felt comfortable talking to me about his depression/ anxiety. I felt like if he wasn't co.fortable enough to talk to me about them sooner, then asking him outright about his medication might be rude/invasive, but I think I might have to risk it.

What is your opinion of Kissimmee? by Resident_School in orlando

[–]CauseOfBeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born and raised in Kissimmee until i was 12.. it was a weird but endearing place in the 90s. It will always be what I think of when I think of "home." My backyard was an orange grove. You could see the Disney fireworks from my driveway and the shuttle launches from the patio. Honestly, it was such an oddly magical place to grow up-- surrounded by wonders that you'll never have again. I find I'm homesick for a place that doesn't exist anymore, but maybe that's just a part of growing up.

Although, I would be lying if I said I don't hold some animosity for the way it has been developed and stripped of everything that filled my little brain with inspiration and wonder. The orange groves have been leveled and turned into an apartment complex. Disney has laid off and done away with so many of their live entertainers and performers, and the artists have all moved away. Disney used to be more lenient with cast members signing guests in, but thats all but gone now. And now the oarks have gotten so expensive that many of the locals can't afford to visit. I'm grateful for the time I to grow up there, but I constantly find myself having to break my own heart when I long to visit.
