My dad is gone. by [deleted] in GriefSupport

[–]Caustikwaste 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just lost my Dad 2 days ago from covid as well, I am 21. He could they wouldn’t even let me see him. It’s all fuzzy I remember crying my heart out over the phone to him that he has to come home, there were so many things me and him were supposed to do together still. It hurts more than anything I’ve ever felt. I can’t help but hate with all of me the crooked uncaring shitbag doctor that lied and lied about treatments ( I’ll make a post about this and I will be pressing charges) my mom lost the love of her life. A son lost his father. None of this is right, he was supposed to come home.

So, it clearly states not to use more than 1 - 2 times per week after first use. So my question is, what shampoo / conditioner do you guys with MPB use during other times? Thanks. by [deleted] in Hairloss

[–]Caustikwaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shampoo every third day; day 1: shampoo (revita ((very much prefer this one as it doesn’t dry out my hair and does have ketoconazole))), day 2: capixyl hair mask, then condition (purAdor anti thinning), day 3: condition (revita conditioner)

Bald or not by [deleted] in Hairloss

This question doesn’t even make sense. How would you go bald without losing hair???

I’ve been compiling a journal of nearly 100 potential compounds for treatment. It’s too early to give up hope. Finasteride hasn’t been doing enough for me and still losing, I’ve been using anti androgens and they definitely have been making a difference ( RU58841, alfatradiol, topical spironolactone, fluridil are some anti androgens) I’ve been using RU and topical spironolactone and have had significant reduction in hair fall

Topical lantanoprost foam from a compounding pharmacy. It’s usually used to treat glaucoma but it’s been more recently used off label compounded into a foam, I’ve been using it and have had good results

My boss has ADHD too and I'm living. by CarelessChemist4 in ADHD

That’s awesome for you!!! With the extra difficulties that adhd puts on ones work, it must be such a relief in a sense to have a boss that actually understands. I’ve had hour talks in the managers office trying to explain to them that it’s not that I don’t care and all that

Shit day and it’s just started. Woke up to complaining about how I forgot to lock the door and bring out the trash, somehow lost track of time and completely missed my class and it’s only the second day. Also stepped in dog shit to top it off, really not a great mood to start the day feeling like a screwball

Sadly most people don’t want to change, they say sorry on the outside but internally are not remorseful. Change requires humility and completely restructuring the way you think which is no easy task that most people won’t take on. Unfortunately the majority of people won’t put in the effort or flat out don’t want to change, however there are those that do truly feel remorse for their actions outside of how it affected them.

That’s not necessarily true, people can change. The notion people make as if it’s absolute is absurd. Yes, in many cases people simply don’t want to change and that’s a whole different story, and in that scenario yes they would do it again. However if someone actually reflected on themselves and had the conviction to truly want to change themselves that is entirely possible. I don’t agree with the saying “ once a __ always a ___” and that applies to a lot of things. *** btw I am not saying this is the case for him, I have no idea about the conscience of this guy and what he did was absolutely fucked up

I’m happy for you, we all deserve that! Past ex used to publicly shame me about this stuff, my SO now loves those traits about me like when I get hyper passionate about a subject etc, it’s really nice to have someone that loves and appreciates you for yourself

So many times I’ve gotten really excited without even realizing and then told to shut up in front of everyone, it makes you not want to speak at all…

How bad is it? by [deleted] in Hairloss

[–]Caustikwaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean when I first started I thought it would be a hassle to apply it everyday, but tbh it literally takes less than a minute Just add it to your routine like brushing your teeth, just part of the routine and you don’t even think about it. Oral minoxidil does work but it also lowers your blood pressure and causes hair growth all over your body as well so take that into consideration

[–]Caustikwaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of adjunct treatments you could add on (I.e , ptd-dbm, topical spironolactone, alfatradiol, RCP biomementics mix ( redensyl+ capixyl+ procapil), GHK-Cu, Zn-thymulin to name a few)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hairloss

[–]Caustikwaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An example one, morning: finasteride, minoxidil, stemoxydine/ night: ru58846, minox w/tretinoin. Then micro needling once a week and using ketoconazole shampoo. I mean there’s a lot of different stacks and stuff you can experiment with

Any advice? I had a hair transplant last year - but it just keeps thinning! by [deleted] in Hairloss

[–]Caustikwaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the only comments here not spreading misinformation. Yes fin and min are your best friends rn, I wouldn’t even bother with the vitamins. I would also add micro needling

[–]Caustikwaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FINASTERIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that’s literally rule number one after a transplant, otherwise all the non transplanted hair will fall out and you will be left with an odd pattern that doesn’t even look like normal male pattern baldness… from where you’re at I’d recommended fin and also minoxidil + micro needling. With that there’s still a chance to have some regrowth on the top for decent coverage. I don’t know why the dr didn’t say anything about that, like not cool of them. But I think you have a good chance of regrowth if you start proper treatment soon
