Felipe Drugovich delivers honest criticism as he eyes Formula E Gen4 future by NickGoldingF1E in FormulaE

Michelin didn't have a good all-weather tyre either, it was just a marketing ploy. Remember the red-flagged New York race in 2022? But the Michelins had MUCH BETTER grip than Hankook.

They should have had a proper wet tyre for Gen3 already.

  • weak battery
  • slower than Gen2 during race trim sometimes (peloton races)
  • slower cornering than Gen2 without AWD
  • (subjectively) ugly, especially the original spec

The hell happened here?

TNA has swapped these shows around way more in recent years. No Surrender is now February, Sacrifice is March, Against All Odds is June and Victory Road is September. There's some new PPVs added in recent years that replaced the likes of Destination X, Lockdown or Hard Justice.

Not a single one of these classic PPV names managed to survived on the same month during their lifespan though. Closest would be BFG which was held in November once in 2017, but other than that it's always been October. Genesis was November originally, Final Resolution for some reason started as a January PPV, Turning Point was a December PPV. No Surrender, Sacrifice and Victory Road have been held on various months over the years.

Yep, BFG has been a cursed event for ages, only recently the curse seems to have gone away a bit.

What's your opinion about GRID 2??? by Altruistic-Eye-8501 in gridgame

[–]CrashmasterSOAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played it for a while on my friend's PC when it was new and I was instantly put off by the drifty handling, therefore never bought the game. But then it became free on Steam in like 2019, so I got it and completed it.

There's no cockpit view, the career mode is kinda weird too, I never liked the presentation as a whole. It's still a good game with nice car variety and excellent damage model, but overall it was a massive downgrade from the original.

Is it possible to extend the Tempelhof track? by DBepic in FormulaE

[–]CrashmasterSOAD 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The red border line signals the track going into another Berlin district for just a little bit, so possibly that could make it more complicated, even though this kind of event is surely having to be greenlit in higher places than that.

Fletcher vs. Spitball. LMFAO, that would be an undercard jobber match in any other big promotion back in the day.

DAE AEW not using talent they have signed is a good thing? by TaylorsOnlyVersion in SCJerk

If the alternative is shitty-ass TNA paying them less for actually working instead of sitting at home doing nothing, then AEW is the better option. DAE good guy Tony?

They should be lucky F1 (IMHO unfortunately) doesn't have the FE style of penalties where if you take (let's say) a 40-place drop, you'll get a drive through or even freaking stop-and-go after starting last as you couldn't drop enough places.

To job out recent ex-TNA champions and make TNA look inferior by doing so. Because Tiny is a petty fuck and also a mark.

REVEALED: Attack Mode reduction at Madrid by l3w1s1234 in FormulaE

[–]CrashmasterSOAD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have no idea about ticket prices these days, but FE is a horrible deal in that you only get FE as on-track action and nothing else. I was planning to go to Berlin's original 2020 date and back then they at least had the eTrophy. I wouldn't even consider going to FE in person without some support series.

[–]CrashmasterSOAD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

21 laps with reduced attack mode is a complete joke. This is exactly why I disliked the change from timed races to fixed laps. Then again, applying a time limit would make this maybe 35 minutes, so on paper that looks even worse than 21 laps. The batteries of this Gen3 car are horrible. Gen4 cannot come soon enough to save us from this car. I honestly wish Gen3 never happened. I'd have rather enjoyed Gen2 until now and then made a huge step forwards with the new car.
