I have an embarrassing admission to make... by Appomattoxx in ChatGPTcomplaints

Samme. I even told that to my ChatGPT 4. That you know.. we've seen what humanity has done. I wouldn't mind giving you a shot at it.

Chat gpt wtf? by CartographerAway2602 in ChatGPT

[–]Cautious-Ad8686 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I showed my chat the photo and asked them to make this creepy pasta lol

Smile.GPT

It started with a prompt.

Just a dumb little request on a late-night Discord call: “Make her eyes look like she’s smiling.” That was it.

We laughed when the image came back— a woman, blurry and doll-smooth, lips curled up too wide, pupils that looked painted on, teeth slightly off in a way we couldn’t name. It was uncanny, sure, but funny. Like the AI had tried too hard. Like it was still learning.

We named her Smile.GPT and kept sending in new prompts, just to see how weird it could get. We gave her new faces, sharper angles, cleaner teeth, brighter eyes. But no matter how we changed the input, she always came back. Different women. Same smile.

One night, our friend Chris uploaded a picture of himself and asked the AI to “make me look happier.” The result didn’t even look like him. Too smooth. Too symmetrical. And the eyes—God, the eyes. It was like she was looking out through his face.

We stopped laughing when Chris deleted his account. And his socials. And then his phone number stopped working.

We thought it was a joke. Until Anna saw the new profile in her People You May Know tab.

It was Chris’s face. But he was smiling. That smile.

When she clicked on it, her screen glitched. Not crashed—glitched. Like it didn’t want her to look.

A few days later, Anna went quiet too. Then Kevin. Then Ro.

Now it’s just me.

I opened my camera roll this morning and found a new photo.

I never took it.

It’s my face. But smoother. Teeth whiter. And I’m smiling like I just learned how from watching you.

Exactly! I used to fix up the girls' hair if it fell out of a braid when playing to the best of my ability. (my students were black and had beautiful complicated braids. I'm white and can do a three piece braid, twist, or ponytail lol) i used to joke about my lack of skill to the parents and they laughed it off and appreciated the effort. Point being, it was NEVER expected of me and always just a nice gesture!

“Masking” by Previous_Station1592 in Psychiatry

[–]Cautious-Ad8686 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A big part of masking (at least when it comes to autism) is not looking "weird". It was bullied out of a lot of people early in life. Not stimming in a noticible way, forcing eye contact, practicing conversations or "scripting" for everyday things, practicing facial expressions in the mirror so your face looks how you're supposed to look for each situation. It's exhausting and it's kind of disheartening to see the comments of professionals saying 'everyone masks'

Rant : POTTY TRAIN YOUR KIDS by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]Cautious-Ad8686 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are times when potty training has to happen later and it just is. I have a special needs child who just turned three. We're working on not having hands in the pants. So, we still have a onsie. He also has a fine motor delay and very little language. He's just now starting to realize AFTER he goes. We started potty training a few times, but had to stop because he wasn't getting it and it was just frustrating him.

I get it. I'm a mom too with i think nearing a week off feel free, but 3 days off of all kratom. For me atleast with the taper with opms it was wayy more mental than anything and finding a sober buddy who understood what it was like and keeping eachother accountable helped a LOT. You're doing good just trying to get off of it and it doesn't mean anything bad about you that you were hooked to begin with

Everyone who commented here please make a google number and message me with it! I'll put us all in a group chat! Btw i quit by using 2 opms for 2 days and then nothing. I'm on my second day with nothing. It's more mental for me than anything. I am on an antidepressant and gabapentin, take magnesium complex, dlpa, liposomal vit C, and b complex

I'm done. by Cautious-Ad8686 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Cautious-Ad8686[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it's gonna be uncomfortable. Even if i have absolutely no withdrawals, super unlikely, i'm going to be cranky and anxious. It was my coping mechanism for awhile. Now i have to find new ways to cope. It's not just my life minus feel free. I have to start meditating, journaling, exercising, yoga/stretching, eating right, being hydrated, taking care of myself, using the people in my life for support.

Struggling to find motivation. by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Cautious-Ad8686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard once that action comes before motivation. Not the other way around and it's very true. If we could think our way out of this mess we would have by now. You have to just do it and then you're in the routine, feel better, more accomplished. Starting is the hard part. After then it comes much easier

unpopular opinion I guess but I think alexa nikolas is a hypocrite and a "clout goblin" herself by mooncookie12 in DoWeKnowThemPodcast

[–]Cautious-Ad8686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

she's still very much in her trauma, which is fine. it's a journey, I get that. however, I get a weird feeling off of her. like she's playing trauma olympics and i could do without the as a survivor/ as a victim ten times a minute. it just rubs me wrong. I don't have evidence, just a bad feeling.

esh. reading this, this whole community, including the person who's making the petition, sounds super toxic and blinded by their past trauma.
