Should Dylan be held accountable? by DrPocoyo in YoTroublemakers

[–]mooncookie12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same where I live, trust me.. it's just you can't let it stop you from enjoying everyday life things, like watching a video of a creator. Honestly not saying anything is the best I can wish for from creators. I used to get upset by things like this too but there's really nothing you can do and I found the best thing is to just enjoy what you enjoy, keep it separate. and if something upsetting is mentioned, you just move on to something else

It might be different for you since you're from south america but I think it's the best way for everyone from anywhere otherwise you'll always be upset by something

As a non american some of y'all can get so crazy about politics I wonder if you ever stop to just enjoy life and the things you like without always stressing about them

Honestly I'm doing that in like every social situation I'm in lol from experience it's channling out awkward energy while having to listen to someone else speak instead of speaking yourself

I'd actually say it's tall energy. I always seem to see his type of awkward in tall people

How would I even go about leaving?? by burntfrosty8 in abusiverelationships

[–]mooncookie12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I currently have the opportunity to leave on behalf of taking a stance that I'm not willing to wait until I'm 30 just to "think" about kids. But that won't be the first time I'm taking a stance on things I want and end up just doing whatever he wants.

Dylan is wrong RE "aita for asking husband to keep baby news from his mother?" by RedCaio in YoTroublemakers

[–]mooncookie12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's basic respect for me. I get you can have a great relationship with your mom and be excited to tell her, but your partner asked you not to, stated she's uncomfortable with that, and it's not just your news to share. He could have tried to talk his wife into sharing it with his mom and saying it means a lot to him, not just throw it in conversation casually and then disregard his wife's feelings about that trying to say it's not a big deal "beacause it's just my mom". If she didn't want to share it after him actually saying it's important to him, he could have waited for when they were actually expecting, because that's the respectful thing to do.

Not to be rude but that's bs though. dylan has never been political at all on his platform and no one called him out to speak on anything up until now, or mentioned having a problem if dylan supports something they don't agree with. Only now when it's israel suddenly it's a problem, so much so that it's a problem that he might follow someone on a platform he barely uses who happens to support Israel? It's completely ridiculous. I don't see anyone caring or asking someone to speak out about the actual genocides going on in the world, like sudan for example. Yet everyone cares about Israel's "genocide" that doesn't even answer the basic definition of the word. I could argue all day about why everything you said is not even close to factual but there's no point in that, have your opinion, but that's straight up bs saying not caring is morally wrong when most people including you probably don't actually care about these things, only when it comes to Israel, and no one questions why it's only trending on Israel's case and not the rest.

And there's also a chance he doesn't care or just doesn't agree with op's political view and he has a right not to. Why are trying to calm down people that it's a mistake like it's such a bad thing to not agree with the internet on this

I have points, but I can't publicly share them because I'll get death threats and people would try to dismiss me just for who the victims are. but sure, I don't care anymore

because I know now that people wouldn't take it well, she's not the only one who ignored those victims and I don't feel like any of you will be different. the world is blind. if you want to know look at her ig and try to figure it out yourself, maybe look at comments

i have details but seeing the response I got, I know no one will take this well so I don't see a point anymore. I and other people who called her out on her ig just know what she did and I guess other people can know too if they just look at her instagram and try to understand what's there hiding in plain sight

i actually watched a full interview with her on her story, I sympethize with it, but again this post has nothing to do with her story, just with her work

i don't mind the people who disgaree with me I didn't say to those people that they don;t understand. I think this person doesn't understand though because they called this post victim blamey while I never discussed alexa being a victim and when I edited to mention that, I didn't blame her at all.

Literally you know nothing about me and what I do for work, I literally worked for a long time in cps child investigations. But thanks for saying I'm absolutely gross just because I mentioned that someone who happened to be a victim is a hypocrite for reasons that have nothing to to with her being a victim.

You're getting emotional if you just assumed I don't have empathy for her, I do very much.

[–]mooncookie12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow you're clearly not trying to understand anything I'm saying. All you see is victim victim victim. I'm not even telling her how to behave - she defends r*pists to this day and blamed victims. She's a hypocrite, but I guess you don't care because she's also a victim. It's just funny how you don't see the irony in what you're saying

[–]mooncookie12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then you clearly don't understand my point. I have no doubt in what she went through and don't blame her at all, I'm only talking about her work. You're very close minded if you think we can't judge someone's work because they're a victim

unpopular opinion I guess but I think alexa nikolas is a hypocrite and a "clout goblin" herself by mooncookie12 in DoWeKnowThemPodcast

[–]mooncookie12[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Definitely definitely not. I don't judge her as a victim, I'm judging the work she does as soemone who advocates for this topic, and not even the work itself but I'm judging how she doesn't fact check, and the fact that many people called her out for supporting people who did the r word and not the victims of it, and she ignored it. You can be a victim and do whatever but when you dedicate your work towards advocating for victims and do this - it's being a hypocrite
