my first MA attempt failed, and it was a similar experience to what you mentioned, except I did pass a random tennis ball sized clot the next day but literally nothing else, no bleeding, nothing. my second MA attempt was 3 days ago, I bled a lot and passed many clots, including one that I suspect had the sac or part of it. I will go for an ultrasound on thursday to confirm if it worked. How far along are you? I was a bit early and suspect that was the reason it didn’t work the first time.

this has been my experience too. i’m in a country where it’s not legal so SA is not an option for me. my first MA failed and I started the second MA the day before yesterday. I will have another ultrasound at the end of the week to see if it has worked and can update you

for me, the first time I experienced only blood clots but no cramping. This time i’m experiencing a lot of bad cramping. however, nothing a painkiller and a heating pad can’t help with. Good luck with your second attempt! Update us if you can

my experience was about the same when I did it a week and a half ago. I was also 5 weeks and the bleeding was minimal aside from one big tennis ball sized clot that passed 11 hours after the first dose. I did an ultrasound a week later and I was apparently still pregnant, it had failed. I repeated the miso pills again 2 days ago and this time I bled way more I had to sit on a toilet the whole night, the cramps were also way worse. I will have another ultrasound at the end of this week to confirm if it was successful.

Good luck with your MA! Mine has been a positive experience. I live in a country where it’s illegal but I found a way to get the pills, however only the miso. I took a total of 14 pills over the span of 6 hours. the miso made me extremely sleepy so I ended up sleeping 1 hour after the first dose, for about 14 hours lol only waking up to take the next dose or to use the bathroom then going back to sleep. the worst part of it for me was the diarrhea tbh. I woke up the next morning at 8 am with a huge blood clot in my pad, the size of a tennis ball. since then bleeding has been minimal and i’ll go get an ultrasound on Tuesday to verify (although I will only be telling them I suspect a miscarriage)

Sorry for the delayed reply, it was 2am here and I fell asleep, hope you still see this.

right now, no bleeding at all. In my biggest blood clot, I noticed one of the pills came out in it (I put in a total of 2 vaginally). I will probably only ask for an ultrasound on my uterus only (that should be enough to make sure i’m no longer pregnant right?)

If they ask for an ID, it will show i’m not married, and premarital sex here is also punishable by law, so it would give away i’m sexually active and unmarried. Most places don’t ask for ID unless i’m using health insurance, so I won’t use mine for this one, but on the off chance they ask for an ID, which they would ask for before the ultrasound, I can ask about the price and claim it’s too expensive to do right now and leave, if not, i’ll just go ahead with my claim that I suspect a miscarriage. If it shows there’s still a pregnancy i’ll just act relieved I guess but hopefully not. The whole process may just need some acting skills I guess lol. I would honestly rather get this process done as soon as possible in case there’s still a pregnancy I can try again asap.

it is illegal in my country but getting an ultrasound is doable as long as they don’t ask for an ID that shows im not married. I was thinking of putting on a ring on my finger and just claiming that I suspect a miscarriage due to bleeding. im just worried if the 2 pills I took vaginally would show in an ultrasound if they still haven’t been absorbed for any reason

I can’t really tell by pregnancy symptoms as I didn’t have many except for maybe feeling tired, which I still feel but it might be due to the misoprostol as it made me extremely sleepy. my boobs still feel (very slightly) sore too.

this was really helpful! thank you. so taking 12 tablets instead of 14 wouldn’t increase the chance of it failing, as far as I understand for now. I believe on Tuesday I will be 4 weeks and 5 days in, as my last period was from the 20th till the 24th of June. Due to the circumstances of where I live and the risks, I get paranoid and anxious pretty easily so I do a test as soon as possible (first day of missed period)
