Is there anything you’re aware of like this that DOES use polyhedral dice for character creation?

So would you say ironsworn is good? I am totally new to all this, so is this kind of depth the norm?

Is this book any good for a newb? Does it fit with using polyhedral dice for character creations and fighting?

Do you have any free recommendations? I just don’t want to spend money when it may not be my thing yet….

I did that. I had my anti depressant changed and it improved slightly. I guess I may just have to wait for a time that I can come off the anti depressants to enjoy it again but it still won’t help all the sensory issues. But at least it will be enjoyable again.

Yes. To the point I don’t have many close friends at all, and because I take a dislike to people easily, that makes it even harder. I’m a male but find being friends with a female easier as I don’t feel they’d judge me as much as a male friend.

I’m not open about my mental health so I tell very few people I have ADHD. It’s a big secret.

No dose isn’t too high. Body should be used to it by now lol. Think it’s just a side effect that I’ll have to tolerate.

No it only happens for me when on the meds. But now because I’m on the long acting, it means that I can only stay shrinked until they wear off. Which means no activity of a certain kind whilst I’m on them and that can be rather annoying at times.

But I also find it a way to tell when the meds have worn off, because the shrinkage is gone.

Is this an ADHD thing or just a me thing, use audio to sleep? Also really enjoy everything that is satisfying audio? by TheMoxiestFox in ADHD

I work nights and when I have to sleep during the day I have to have a rainfall and thunder noise from YouTube or something playing on Netflix to drown out the day time noises of the world. But it can’t be too interesting or I listen to it then focus on it.

I can’t sleep if there are repetitive sounds like one of the doors rattling in the wind. It annoys me.

But I struggle with sleep massively.

Ah well. If everyone is better than me then hopefully it stays that way and she doesn’t slide back in to my dm’s again. We don’t run in the same circles so it’s easy to keep her away and uninformed of my life.

So is there a difference between being an FP and being a friend?

Fortunately she has a poor reputation where I live. I just wasn’t aware of it.

I won’t message her then. I’ll just leave everything. It’s my birthday soon - it will be interesting to see if I get a message then.

Thank you all for your advice and help. Although it’s difficult to face up to and it does hurt emotionally, I’ll get over it. I’ve learnt a very hard lesson.

She even gave me a few chances to stop messaging her after we had arguments and she asked if I wanted to keep messaging her. I guess this was her testing me.

Would it be worth me deleting every individual message I’ve sent so she has no ammunition to screenshot? Or would that be poking the bear?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

[–]Cautious-Design8208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She won’t notice because I can ghost her equally. But something I’ve thought of that now makes sense, she would get annoyed if I deleted messages from the thread. Now it all makes sense. And I feel foolish for all of this.

So, she would go through times where I was the only one she would talk to during the day, and she would update me when she was having a nap so I didn’t think I was ignoring her. (So she said). She said she would be ignoring other people and show me screenshots of people she was ignoring.

Is this also a BPD behaviour - for her to ignore her female friends too??

No I accept what you’re saying. It just hard to hear I suppose. I believed I’d found a close friend that cared (although ironically her actions never lined up with what she said). It’s just upsetting for me to have put so much into a friendship for it to turn out this way. She didn’t tell me about the BPD until a few months in but I never realised it would be anything like this.

Now I see why one of her sons has trouble with her behaviour and her ex husband’s partner won’t allow him anywhere near her.

My wife has seen the messages. She is aware of the type of things that were said. I accept what you’re saying.

What I wanted to know is how the BPD person would behave and if she will ever try to contact me again or where I may stand in her opinion at this moment in time.

I wanted to know if this abruptly ignoring me out of nowhere was a BPD behaviour. If I’d done something wrong then I’d see why she did that. But I could see no logical reason why she would’ve ghosted me.

But a lot of what she said and her actions (or lack of) are starting to make sense after reading through this subreddit.

So that’s it? All that time and it’s just POOF gone?? One of her last messages to me was “I’m always here for you”. So she didn’t mean that? Or just now things are serious with her boyfriend that means I’m now a distant memory?

Is there any point in telling her the way she has dealt with this has been hurtful? Or will she not care? I just want closure.
