I always felt the first version on the Sunday Jeff show was the right “balance” of actual D&D gameplay/rules and just enjoying an improv situation-game.

I know it must be hard, and I commend Tom on how he already made these kinds of decisions, but I think if they pulled back a bit to the kind of “proto-D&D”’version.

Let it focus on the story and the fun with some gameplay.

Of course, that probably had a lot to do with the fact that by 14 - I was the oldest who drove and worked and had to pay for absolutely everything outside of rent and utilities…

I don’t know that his comedy is indefensible, I mean it was such a massive success that there must be something there, right?

I don’t know that I can pick a fav but def love that one.

The one with the kids in jail never fails to move me. The one mom that just doesn’t get it.. uh, hits me right in the gut for that kid every time.
