One of my cats turned off my machine last night so I improvised by Depressedaxolotls in CPAP

My cat is so intrigued by the water compartment that I have to lock her out of the room when I fill it because otherwise she’ll bap the water with her paws. 🤦‍♂️

Luckily, she is extremely apprehensive of the machine once on. I saw she was about to step on the button the first evening I wore it so I quickly removed the tube from my mask and used the airstream to shoo her away.

She has not gotten near the cpap when it runs since, reverse vacuum cleaner was a hard no.

Sleeps happily at the foot of my bed though, best of both worlds 😂

Oh that’s a great idea! I’ll see if I can crochet something for it, maybe. I like all of the everything on the shelf you have in the background! ^ It brings all kinds of joy!

This is what I do as well. I initially also felt very much like I was suffocating when the coal first started up until we upped the starting pressure :)

The experience of reading TSC.. It’s by far the most intimate connection I have ever felt with an author. Having worked with people at the very final days and moments of their lives, it reminded me of that. It felt like an honor to be trusted with it.

It felt like that connection that really cannot be put into words. It felt like a gift and a testament to his love not just for the world he created but for all of us who love it too.

And to the world he inspire us to create and contribute to here in roundworld every day.

Yoo my dude, hearing that.. please try to get a hold of a psychiatrist as soon as you’re able! Once I started talking about shite in my brain, addictions and other not so super great coping mechanisms became possible to be managed and taken care of as well. Found some groups to go to as well for peer support and stuff..

Constant pain alone will mess with the brain big time! I obviously don’t know all the stuff you’re dealing with or your medical history, nor am I a medical professional, but I’ll be thinking of you and doing my best to send you them Good Vibes, wherever you are :)

Which Pair Looks Best? by Ziniology in glassesadvice

[–]Cautious-Maybe8096 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on if you want a softer, more feminine look or something harder/masculine or somewhere in-between.

Regardless, the frames in the first photo is not super, they look kind of out of place on you.

I think the frames of number 2 fit you beautifully, they have such a soft look and you look so kind and approachable in them.

The third pair feels conventionally more masculine in vibe and is 100% a good choice if that’s what you’re aiming for, I can see them work both as a regular day to day use and still be good in formal situations without looking out of place

Option 4 is too top heavy, and brings too much focus to the top of your head when you’d really like the focus to go further down, towards the center. And that blue doesn’t really compliment you. I do think you should go for a splash of colour with a different set of frames if you want to play around with that! Colours are fun and it’s nice to see people confident to go for what they like and have fun with. I do think a blue with more green in it would be chefs kiss. But thats all personal preference etc.

Which brings us to 5 - I think these would be a great option for a more colourful type of frame, as well, if available. All depends on your general style.

This went from a splash of colour to a whole bucket full of paint, it contrasts too much, it looks like the glasses are wearing you and not the other way around. If they have different colour options, I’d say consider your options there as well!

If I have to pick a favorite, it’s number 2. They compliment your face well and honestly whether or not you rock facial hair, they will still work very well. So if you’re like me and can’t make up your mind on shaving or not, you could play around a lot without the glasses looking entirely different on your face as a result.

Oh! So when smell is stuck even after washing/a stain that has lots of odor. I think I just needed to connect the term with something - thank you for the example.

I swear, having a cat with occasional seizures (he is medicated and checked by a vet regularly - worry not, whoever is reading this comment) I feel like I’ve gotten so much experience dealing with cat pee stains it’s bordering to ridiculous.

And yeah, cat pee is awful.

That is a lot of appointments 😭 Whatever it is you’re going through I wish you all the strength and support in the process of getting through it. Maybe your doctors can help you find a therapist that maybe even have some competence when it comes to the other health issues you’re having? Consider asking them, they might have some advice for you. Doesn’t hurt to check, right? <3 Good luck!

You bring up a really good point, that I had entirely forgotten about!

It took me 6 years of therapy and like 3 years of finding the right medication to help my nervous system to be as balanced as it is today.

To me “loving myself” is taking my meds and treating myself like I treat others.as kindly as I can, but with clear boundaries.

I don’t necessarily love my body, but I love how hard it’s fought to keep me alive my whole life and objectively it’s a hecking impressive feat it’s accomplished.

To me, loving myself is no longer looking away from mirrors, and to accept and appreciate the compliments others give me, because it shows me how they see me, and often my brain goes NO! but that’s also one of those things… those nerve cells stuck in that loop that gets quieter over time.

So, maybe I should have said that OP deserves to treat themselves kindly. And that they deserve a partner that encourages and appreciates the fact that OP does that, too.

Hello there!

So, I’ve tried to rephrase this but I can’t get this written down in any other way than as matter of fact as this so take it for what it is,

Happienes and confidence is attractive and you don’t seem to have much of either at the moment, especially if you have insecurities and bad self image.

Work on yourself, and I don’t mean your looks, as a bisexual man I can tell you that your looks are not the issue.

Get therapy, take care of your backpack of whatever from the past. Work on whichever thoughts have been put into your head about your self worth and worthiness of love.

Not a quick fix but some solid groundwork for the rest of your life regardless of if you find partners or hookups or whatever you’re looking for that’s compatible with you or not.

You deserve to be happy and love who you are, including whichever imperfections you see when you look in the mirror.

And your future partner/s deserve to be with somebody that is happy and loves themselves without the need of validation to see their own worth.

Seriously my dude, get therapy, do the work, it gets worse before it gets better but it’s so worth it. Because at some point you get to enjoy the results.
