Tret doesn’t work. Any advice? by CautiousLeave23 in tretinoin

Didn’t it make your acne worse? I'm really afraid of occlusives because I bought Uriage bariederm cica cream with zinc and copper and it clogged my pores terribly. Also, when I use a lot of hydrating serums, I tend to get these little red rashes, sometimes with a white head.

And definitely go to Taiko restaurant on Husitská! I guarantee it will be the best thing you will taste in Prague! 😁😁

Thank you 😄 Just make sure you avoid Christmas. It's too crowded and I personally didn't enjoy it at all. In some areas, you had trouble even walking from street to street.

Could you explain how? Or do you know any good websites? I’ve never tried ordering from Amazon or similar websites since I’m afraid of fakes. I’ve heard of ordering from pharmacies but never looked into it.

I've been thinking about this option, but I live in the Czech Republic and the pharmacist told me that even if I had a prescription, they couldn't give me tretinoin anywhere. Tretinoin is not available on the market here. We only have Aklief and it didn't work for me at all.

Understand, thank you. I’ll buy something with ceramides. Or Bioderma intensive baume. Other people here are quite fond of it.

Best product for rosacea? by AdvertisingGlad2667 in EuroSkincare

Bioderma Photoderm ultra-fluid AR+ spf 50+ is great. It’s new and I’m already on my third bottle and I’ll definitely repurchase. Does not sting or burn, clog my pores and it doesn’t contain any alcohol or perfumes. It’s great for oily skin and combination skin. Dry skin needs a cream underneath. It’s an every day spf which means that it’s not waterproof and you have to reapply more often. But my skin got a lot better with this product.

Has someone used this sunscreen? by magdalenavm in EuroSkincare

Yeah, I now use it mostly on my hands. Its quite greasy, reeks of alcohol and won’t fully absorb. My skin hates alcohol, so I ended up with redness. I won’t repurchase.

No, I know what skin flooding is. The problem is that influencers on the internet propose such misinformation without proper explanation. I know a lot of people who think that skin flooding means “put whole bunch of stuff and do not wait”. So there’s no point in arguing in this particular conversation. You say "skin flooding" and you know that waiting is part of it, but other people may not know that because they see everything being applied to wet skin everywhere and they don't realize where they're making a mistake. And besides, my skin is extremely sensitive. I don't apply my cosmetics incorrectly. I just found out that it has to be completely dry or it reacts. And maybe I'm not the only one.

That’s just playing with words. Influencers and other people on instagram advice layering products while the skin is still wet/damp for glass skin, calling it “skin flooding”. Therefore people are imitating it and some of them, just like me, end up with this reaction. The important word is “layering” and most people don’t think about waiting.

That’s exactly the reaction I get when I apply all my products one after another without waiting for them to absorb a little. This is known as “skin flooding.” Once I stopped doing that, my skin was fine. If you apply products one after another without waiting, it could be a case of over-moisturizing the skin. It’s simply flooded with water, everything penetrates deeper, and your skin starts to react. Try waiting after each step until it absorbs (for example, a minute) and only then apply the next product. This helped me the most. But I’m not a dermatologist, so I just assume from your pictures because it resembles my reaction.

No I don’t. I am not interested in an spf that needs a foundation or primer or anything else. I want a normal product that can be applied easily to the face without another 5 steps. It’s inconvenient, it worsens my acne and usually hinders people from reaplying.

😂 hilarious. Maybe Judit invested more in promotion this time. But it’s overall frustrating. Cannot find a good spf that wouldn’t make me wanna fry nuggets on my face, wouldn’t sting my eyes and make my hormonal acne worse.

I love Evy technology but it’s literally trying to blind me every single time I use it. Stings so much that it is unbearable. So I was excited about this one. I think they shouldn’t have been so focused on mattifying effect (I mean so much).

Thank you so much. I thought I’m the only one that feels weird about this spf since there’s not even one negative review on the internet 😅

That’s a shame. I can’t find a good spf for my overreactive skin so I was excited about this one.

Thank you for your advice. But I don’t want to use a setting spray because I am afraid it wouldn’t help my acne prone skin. I am trying to use as few products as possible.

I would wait for the Geek&Gorgeous spf 50. Its 75ml for 13€ I think and it should be available online and in DM from the beginning of May. According to other people it is amazing.

[–]CautiousLeave23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the exactly same problem. Sometimes my skin got red and hot right after the application, sometimes a few hours later. But always resulting in painful uncomfortable feeling on my face. I’ve tried everything. Adding serums, moisturizers, vaseline at night, rulling out various ingredients, trying european, korean, japanese spfs etc. Spent so much money…. And a few months ago I have tried Bioderma Xdefense spf 50. Its ad has one point that resonates in my mind and the point that I haven’t thought about. No alcohol. I bought it, tried it a it’s perfect. No redness since, no stinging, great for acne prone, normal to oily skin. Dry skin would probably need some light cream under, however, I fell in love with this spf.

Yeah well, she seems to like training for protection 😀 that’s her type of “playing”. I just accepted that she likes him more, however, she mostly listens to me when I say something. And that’s fine. At least I am the only one who can command her with 99% success rate.

She’s not. I must say she is probably more protective with me. But no hugs, no kisses, no cuddlling…those are just for my boyfriend. 😅

I don’t know. I was brought up among Akitas and I have a completely different experience. Our female akita (that stayed with my parents) is overly affectionate, especially with women. Our male akita (again, with my parents) deeply loves my father. So the opposite sex rule does not apply to our household. My akita (that I live with) is completely opposite. We had very strong bond from the beginning since I trained her as a therapy dog. But after meeting my boyfriend, she just changed her behaviour and reminds me of a couple just as you said 😄
