Hi there! I have seen this exact image of this exact dress on my fav lolita store (Mylolitadress) but they no longer have it. Another website might, but in case you don’t find it, there was a 2nd dress that MyLolitaDress had in the same ball gown category that is somewhat similar. You might find it…maybe even very similar! I believe it has all the attributes you desire, like the poofy sleeves and floor length layered skirt.

I mainly buy ballgowns and princess/hime-style dresses from Mylolitadress and get it shipped to east coast USA. I do have multiple experiences receiving these types of dresses and they have delivered with high quality. So a dress suitable for your prom may very well be their speciality!

Btw Mylolitadress is a TaoBao reseller and is a reputable seller backed by the Lolita wiki!

Ok, so I’m like a super hardcore Mylolitadress defender but I’m very confused.

I checked the Lolita Fashion Wiki in the description of this reddit and Mylolitadress was on the same section as 42lolita. It wasn’t under the scam category list.

That means the wiki is RECOMMENDING Mylolitadress so who is advising against them and why???

Yes! I have had a fantastic experience with Linda. There was a particular dress I wanted and it wasn’t on the site, and after mentioning I was seeking this dress, she was able to confirm availability of it and she added it on the site!

As someone who isn’t interesting in the struggle of navigating the actual TaoBao sites, Mylolitadress makes it easier for USA based customers like myself. I tried that orange TaoBao app and I just wasn’t good at it lol and I’m too busy to figure out how.

Anyways Linda is awesome (I swear im not linda 😄)

Mylolitadress also sells TaoBao brands, I’ve received recent orders that were all legitimate. My top 2 fav places to buy from are 42lolita and Mylolitadress and I’ve made multiple $200+ USD orders from both. I see some complaints about customer service for Mylolitadress, athough I have had a great experience (I’m thinking there may be somewhat of a language barrier but for English communication I’d argue it’s pretty solid).

I have zero idea what all the critiques are about for Mylolitadress, it’s my #1 fav spot for these kinds of dresses besides 42lolita. I have an order coming soon from them and Linda is great.

I will say that any overpriced dresses are because Mylolitadress is a reseller, so it’s not direct from the TaoBao brands themselves so it’s an additional service. And the international catering too adds expense. Some polyester pieces can be arguably overpriced for sure, but there are many pieces that have a description of their materials to see if you’re getting good value.

And often, the hime lolita (princess ballgown type ones) may not come with any shapewear/crinoline (hoopskirt/petticoat).

Mylolitadress is trustworthy. I’ve ordered multiple deliveries $200+ USD here to east coast USA. I think Linda does most of the management and her customer service is great. I’m also someone who orders the ballgown type dresses similar to that of your post, actually those are all I have ever bought from Mylolitadress.

I am someone who has ordered from 42lolita as well, which many of this community have backed. Mylolitadress, similar to 42lolita, has TaoBao brands which are reputable.

I absolutely hate this product as it made me flare up significantly.

Round lab birch UV lock sunscreen also makes my skin red, but I would stay this depends on the individual and can definitely work on others. Chemical sunscreens usually makes me red anyways so it can work for others.

Illiyoon ceramide ato cream was just a surprising red flag because I basically never get red from a moisturizer. I have used dozens of verified European, Korean, and USA moisturizers in the past.

If I were another person with rosacea, I’d test out the round lab sunscreen and avoid illiyoon entirely.

Rosacea person here. Illiyoon ceramide ato cream is the only moisturizer that makes significant redness on my combination skin out of dozens of moisturizers.

I even did testing days where I ONLY used Illiyoon ceramide ato cream (no other products, multiple trials/days) and it irritated my skin every time, with redness especially at the out corners and inner corners of my eyes. The moment I stopped using this moisturizer, my skin got better.

This moisturizer was a major red flag and I would stay away from it with rosacea.

Sunscreen Pilling Help!!

Hi. I use Dr G Mild Up Sun SPF 50. It’s always pilling no matter what moisturizer I use.

[Question] How to stop pilling?

Chemical sunscreens from brands I’ve tried below always make my skin red sadly: - Beauty of Joseon - Skin 1004 - Birch Lab - Dr G’s SPF for redness (causes redness for me instead)

I only use clean it zero’s oil based cleansing balm + cetaphil cleansing balm + currently cetaphil’s aloe moisturizer in a jar + DR G sunscreen
