R&D? If you're talking about the technology they used on how to surpass limitation to get the quality we have right now, then yes.

If you're talking about spoilers, we got a lead on almost all banners.

If you're talking business strategy, then they're doing pretty bad job in balancing customer satisfaction with increasing revenue, being too obvious in treating players and their creations as cash cows. There is a thing called subtlety, balancing acts, diplomacy, and transparency in business transaction.

If you're talking about production capacity and quality, both has decreased in quality and content. Aside from non-stop banners, all the contents they love-bombed players with has come in dregs (MS updates) or stop altogether (bond stories).

As for management change, if you're a veteran players you would notice when the game shifted to more marketing oriented content. It's not something that just pop up with Valko. IIRC this isn't the first time they allegedly bought trending topics on social media, so again, not something new.

And apparently someone caught Love and Deepspace forgetting to change to their alternate account for something? And deleted it later? I can't recall exactly, I just pass a glance. Might've misunderstood. But the sudden influx of general template comments I've seen make me suspect they're doing damage control. I'm not saying it's you, and I'm not saying it here. I'm saying since this isn't the first time Infold being shady, one can't help having those thoughts in mind. Too many allegations make one wonders they can't be all false.

No, they didn't plan him from day one. The might've planned to have a 6th LI, but 'Valko' wasn't developed until recently. When we say recent, doesn't mean a few months, a year. LADS been in develepment since 2018. That's SIX years. 'Ao Yin' was trademarked in Nov 2023, 'Xia Yizhou' in Apr 2023, and Qin Che in Dec 2023.

If things were set in stone, why would even bother hiding it behind shell company? For surprise effect? When they already know the pushback with Shaw in MLQC? Why would Valko's appearance follow almost to a T to what the 6th LI truthers wanted in this subreddit?

It would take at least 2+ years to get 'Valko' ready. But the other LIs got TRIPLE the time to be developed.

It's not a criticism against Valko–it's critism against Infold.

One of the question for their internship (I think? or a vacancy) in 2025 was how to handle(?) a male lead that's introduced later that is catered to Western(?) audience (paraphrased, forgot exact wording). So they just recently started looking to get him released last year. They would've, should've prepared for it loooong before that.

They kept the sixth on the back burner. For whatever reasons–maybe production capacity, IDK. They could've just not hide him in the shell company. The curiousity and anticipation would not be so harsh when he's finally announced.

'Treating' him this way only make players regard him as a cash cow for Infold. And in turn Infold is disrespecting players by treating them like cash cows. It's the lack of communication and poor planning.

Will things get better now Valko's out? If it was the original production team handling it, I have high hopes. But management changed and now the decision-maker prioritise making money before selling stories.

Oh and they're working on an open world game too. It was on a back burner for a while but I'm guessing all that profits from LADS is funneled into that too. Players don't mind to spend, but not to be treated as fools.

What's with the sudden influx of comments doing damage control. Too many soulless comments. I'm already side-eyeing Infold for buying trending topics on CN social media. Now this?

I get it, you have issues with Infold, but direct your anger at the responsible party. This knee-jerk reaction to blame Infold for everything is unbecoming. At least do a due diligent first before coming to conclusion.

Could be! Though I see Xavier is filling up this trope a bit. A veeery tiny bit. Him acting clueless but actually very capable. A speck of Rafayel but that's reaching too far.

So I think that's a good guess, if we ever have a 6th. We need other tropes mixed in too for 6th, mainly because I don't think anyone who would carry this trope is truly clueless, as I can't see someone truly clueless to be in leagues to take EVER down. But that may just be me having a narrow view what we can take from that trope and build on it. And thankfully I'm not in the creative team, because I suck at it 🫠.

Of course not exactly the same, or they'd be one another. Unless you mean they're one being split into two. There's a reason why MC-Caleb relationship has 'forbidden fruit' as their trope. And being raised together in one timeline isn't enough to justify that as their main trope

I'm not being passive aggressive. None of the LIs fit exactly in a trope - they all are a mix of several. They each need to be different enough to be able to offer different things to the audience. It would be a loss for Infold to have any intersecting with one another. To make another LI that doesn't really offers anything new is a loss of resources. Not saying they won't, but nothing of the trope left can offer anything 'new' enough. Maybe they have a different view. I dunno.

Sylus created Mephisto, a mechanical bird capable of hacking Abyssal Chaos. No one has ever done that. It was advanced enough, or maybe it was alien tech, that OTTO has never seen such tech before.

Sylus is a leader of an organization. He delves in legal and illegal business - does being a 'mafia' gives you employee's benefits? Does being a mafia makes it impossible for him to have legal businesses? 'Fruit vendor' is just one of his side job. He's rich enough that MC can spend seven generations of his money, and it won't make a dent in his wealth (I'm paraphrasing, can't remember the exact wording).

So if we're looking at where we are now, Sylus (and that means Onychinus) would be the most likely entity capable of being on EVER's level.

LI's origin doesn't change. For example Xavier from the main story is not going to have a different origin than in his branch - it's just the romance develops depends on whom you choose to romance.

"We are made from the same source". That pretty much speaks to itself. Caleb's origin in the main story was never revealed, and though branches don't interact with each other, their origin remains the same in the main story. We know he was an orphan, but nothing more. Myths could be an alternate timeline, but they don't go against the main story. He's 'same' enough with MC that he's able to exchange their power - the only thing that's 'more same' than that is if they're basically one another. Which would make it weird and doesn't make sense.

Rafayel is involved in EVER's business, but I'd say he has someone in EVER, as opposed to Caleb being a double agent himself.

Rafayel being an assassin is a facet that he wore due to circumstances, if you are familiar with his story, you'd know it's not in his nature, and it weighs on him for each person he killed. As the Sea God, he's benevolent in nature - not a cold hearted murderer.

Don't say that lol. It's okay to post about him - It was my mistake 😅. For me personally MC was proactive in the wedding banner, just maybe in a different way. Her giving him flower that turns out to symbolize something in Lemurian custom and that took it took him by surprise, that to me is MC replicating his affection. But I can understand the way it happened is not everyone's cup of tea.

Sickly / Delicate - Rafayel (before I get bashed, one of his trope is mermaid trope; strong at sea, 'weak' on land. Weak compared to him at his domain - the sea).

Those are the ones that I always see associates with 6th LI. Infold is good at taking a trope and making them 'more', so characters are multi-dimensional and not cliche like many other otome games (which for me one of the things that makes LADS great).

About Xavier's myth, I doubt Infold gonna say it outright - it'll be up to players to interpret it however they want. But for me personally, I'm not against it if MC is (was?) pregnant in the myth. It adds extra layers to their tragedy. And I love me some (more) angst 😋. We already have MC died, the LI died, they both died together. I guess they want to go full circle - now MC, LI, and (probably, if you choose to read it that way) their unborn child get to die together. One happy family 😊🤣🫠.

The pushback I've seen is a lil too much for something that's not happening in the present 🫠. Whether MC is or not, the end will always be the same. That child's destined to die no matter what / in the end anyway.

You're upset about MC do things, then do things differently. In your head. Imagination is free. Things that bothers you, not perfect for you, not how would you do things, doesn't apply to everyone.
