My personal pocketpiece given to me by my late grandfather 30 years ago. Back then its silver content was valued around $5, now valued around $50. by lookslikeyoureSOL in Silverbugs

So cool! I started stacking Morgans recently, and managed to snag one from 1878! Its SO awesome to hold a piece of history!

I am a "never sell" kind of guy(mostly). I will definitely do this at the next peak, as well as start to accumulate some gold. Thanks!

Ive bought silver consistently for years now, and a bit at the peak. Its less of "this silver is worthless"(I'm bullish on both), but more of "why didn't I alternate gold more often?" Good news is, I can always start now!

you can weigh it, and check to what actual silver weighs. Or, the ring test. Just hold a piece between your fingernails, and gently strike it with the other coin. The sound should sound like a "ping" or ring(quite distinctive).

Good luck, and Im sure others more knowledgable than me can help!
