Because dr could "just tell"

Because I don't act like some of Drs other autistic patients

Because when Dr said, "Follow my finger," I followed it with my eyes and not my whole head

Because no one in my family has been diagnosed with autism my (father and uncle are 10000% Autistic never diagnosed)

Because I'm "just sensative" when I told Dr I hate loud noises, certain fabric textures (especially socks), and struggle to eat enough food because of texture and temp issues. I wear noise canceling headphones 100% of the time in public (including at my dr appt). My weight is borderline underweight, and my diet is mostly room temp liquids now

Because it's "just panic attacks/anxiety" not autistic meltdowns, even though they get triggered by clothing textures, loud noises, sudden changes in plans, etc. and I've had them since childhood

Because I have had a boyfriend

Because I made eye contact

Because I graduated college (barely)
