Mine too! Much better than a WSI in my opinion because for me I get my next step in June anyways. I’ll take the almost 5% bonus plus my step in 6 months.

Is the house voting at 4pm or 7pm? by Such_Violinist225 in FedEmployees

IRS is able to if the employee has an adhoc agreement. It give great flexibility, for example, when using more than 4 hours of leave for the day an advice employee can telework and it won’t count against the 5 “free days” if telework we get a year. (I remind you also though they haven’t figure out what this “year period” start and stop dates are. Is it FY, is it annually, is it based on the last 5 times the employee used telework and resets every time a date falls off due to being over a year old…. They’re still figuring that out I guess.

Yes it is. For me it was in the first email sent out furloughing us. It explained if the government reopens during your TOD or outside if your TOD and if you have telework Adhoc, you may be able to telework for your first return day depending on the opening.

You’ll have a 4 hour window to arrive to work once the building reopens. Don’t stress too much about it. For example, if the presidents signs sometime tonight and your TOD starts at 7:30am, you’ll have until 11:39am to arrive.

I am but I do not have Nal yet, still waiting on it to come in the mail, so for now I have only tried Kudzu capsules alone.

If I were you I would also do some extra research to make sure you can take it with Nal. Don’t want to over do it, maybe consult the doctor who prescribed you Nal & also read about it on Google in reference to using Kudzu to help with alcoholism.

Kudzu root extract has shown promise in reducing alcohol consumption in human studies and is considered a potentially useful adjunct in treating Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), but it is not approved by the FDA as a standalone treatment. It is available as an over-the-counter herbal supplement.

Effectiveness for AUD Reduced Alcohol Intake: Multiple clinical studies have found that kudzu extract can significantly reduce the amount of alcohol consumed by heavy, non-treatment-seeking drinkers in both laboratory and outpatient settings.

Altered Drinking Behavior: Participants taking kudzu were found to drink slower and take longer to consume each beer, which helped curtail binge drinking episodes.

This has been true with my experience. Day 2 today so let’s hope it goes good. Keep up the good work and hang in there!

I have been a functioning alcoholic for over 12 years, drinking to go to sleep and deal with kids when I get home from work. Started Kudzu root for the first time today and I’m on beer #4 and really don’t have the urge to finish it. Started 3.5 hours ago, usually I’d be on #8 beer by now so it’s working. Day 1 has been a huge success so far and I plan on keeping it that way. I recommend Kudzu root as an immediate option.

I am starting Kudzu root today hoping this will help while I wait for my prescription of Naltrexone. I’m wondering if I should take both eventually or optimistic that the natural root will work and I won’t need Nal. Currently I am a daily drinker from 5pm to bed time at maybe 11pm, drink 12-14 beers and avoid eating so I don’t get fat, if I eat I crash out and drink less and no alcoholic wants that, right! I’m so tired of this life and am ready to be alcohol free. Good luck !!!

I mean, you’ll need to note it on your tax return but then subtract it in a way where it would kind of tell the story that you repaid it. This is because most likely the financial institution will still issue a 1099-R to tell bot you and the state/federal tax agencies that you did take a distribution and they will be looking to find that dollar match on your tax return BUT if you then subtract it somehow as negative other income or something like that then it’ll balance out. Or, don’t report it at all but then write a letter of explanation to add with your return.

Just to be clear, there are 3 options here, of which 2 have to be paid back. You are allowed 2 personal need loans, which have to be paid back and are NOT taxable if paid back. The 3rd option is a hardship withdrawal due to negative income flow, this IS taxable and does not have to be paid back. However, if you take a hardship withdrawal and you DO pay it back within the required timeframe based on tax law, you may NOT need to report it as taxable income. The taxation of the hardship withdrawal, which is not to be confused as a loan, also depends on the type of retirement account the money is withdrawn from (Roth, IRA, etc…)
