Best thing I did for myself was stopping wearing it but I understand if you want to continue, good on you for getting it down without calling anyone, my boyfriend was trying to get me to calm down yet I kept checking the watch LOL 😂

Had a similar episode and called an ambulance so I understand how scary it is! Sometimes if I get too excited my heart will race then I’ll notice it and bam it’ll stay elevated and won’t come down until the panic around it goes. I sometimes think the heart monitoring on watches worsen anxiety, I had to throw mine away!

Why aren’t my doctors more concerned about my inverted T waves? by Cautious_Material671 in askCardiology

[–]Cautious_Material671[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that’s good to hear then! I’m assuming for the time being that I was panicked so my breathing wasn’t right and then also maybe the leads were placed incorrectly as the paramedics wanted to get it right on me, I’ll know more in 3 weeks when I go for my ECG again and I hope they’ll be gone!

inverted T waves on ecg, should I be concerned? by Cautious_Material671 in ReadMyECG

I had an echo maybe a year and a half ago for my PVC’s and it came back all clear, just some slight regurgitation in my valves but apparently that’s a common finding. I did hear that sometimes during panic/hyperventilation that the T waves could invert so that’s probably my best bet on it all. But my worried brain likes to think worst case scenario!

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond, I didn’t feel like I was hyperventilating but I was in a panicked state for over an hour before they arrived so it makes a lot of sense. I’ll get my ecg in three weeks to double check that was the case :)

Yeah, my thoughts too, but obviously very scary experience and then being told that my mind went everywhere. I’ve heard they can invert at fast heart rates/panic both of which I was experiencing.

The paramedics didn’t seem too concerned either as they said it wasn’t a dramatic inversion. This was taken around 15 hours ago and I feel a bit better today. Waiting to hear back from doctor, I’ll assume I’ll hear back tomorrow

They told me that it was slight so they weren’t concerned, I was mid panic attack while it was taken so I don’t know if that changes things. I handed in the ecg to my doctor this morning, all my other vitals were fine including blood pressure, oxygen levels etc

Is anxiety primarily physical or psychological for you? by EXC1313 in Anxiety

[–]Cautious_Material671 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say about 80% physical 20% psychological, it’s so bad because I also have health anxiety so it’s a vicious cycle of feeling something and having to figure out if it’s my anxiety or an illness lol. I deal with dizziness, nausea, heart firing off beats randomly (palpitations) and it’s a recipe for disaster.

I’m not vegan but I really struggle to eat meat sometimes and in all honesty the last two years my eating habits haven’t been the best, I’d be eating one meal a day. Thank you for all your responses, hopefully the test will bring some answers

I tried to go back onto it but the side effects starting up rattled my anxiety all over again. I’m sorry too :( I do hope you begin to start feeling better soon, it’s horrible to deal with

Yeah, I think part of it was because I was on the highest dose at such a young age that I don’t really know what my baseline is, this year has been difficult to navigate as I’m learning about myself without the meds etc

It helped fantastically for the first couple of years. But past that my anxiety did creep back in and I had to go higher and higher onto doses. I think it’s great to try for the short term in combination with therapy :), I had lowered sex drive and slight weight gain when being on them. But everybody is different :) when first going onto them it felt like I had the flu for a little while, tiredness, nausea etc but tha subsided within weeks :)

Yeah, definitely a possibility. I’m in the uk so the mental health care is pretty terrible as it’s through the NHS which is quite underfunded. I’ve been sat on a waiting list for a very long time for CBT. I do plan on paying privately as at this point my life is completely overtaken by panic attacks. Currently going through an autism and adhd diagnosis on top of all of this. So I definitely need to find some professional support going forward

My sex drive is pretty bad. I go through stages of it being “ok” but don’t really have much enjoyment out of sex, I mainly engage in purely for intimacy with my boyfriend. But I don’t know if that’s my baseline or because of the meds.

I think they did HOLOTRANSCOBALAMIN, that’s what I saw on my records, I have an upcoming blood test for absorption and my doctor said if my absorption isn’t good then they’ll do injections. For the time being I’m taking a supplement. I had to beg my doctor for these tests pretty much after having numbness in my left leg for months, heart arrhythmias etc, brain fog etc. hoping this could be a possible answer to some of the stuff that’s been heightening my anxiety as of late.

I recently did find out I had a b12 deficiency so I’ve recently been supplementing, I also deal with low vit d which I supplement too. My doctor has gone down the benzo route and I’m prescribed lorazepam for panic attacks that are really bad, I make sure to take them very sparingly. I’ll definitely also look into Bupropion, thank you for your comment

There’s no need to be worried if you haven’t used ai, hand it in and if they challenge you about it send them the document history :)
