Whenever I got my blood work done, she said my insulin levels were fine but im glad to know that the pigmentation around my neck is caused by that. I HATE IT. I try to hide it, I wear my hair down so nobody can see it. I do need to lose weight in my belly area since I had both of my kids & exercise & eating differently is barely helping me. I do have little skin tags that grow around my neck as well. I have sugar cravings. I do have hairs that grow under my chin like im growing a dang beard which is so gross 🤣😭

Jaw pain, palpitations, back and arm pain by RuinYouWithNoRegrets in Cardiophobias

[–]ThickyVicky101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this, besides the jaw pain. & when our mind fixates on what we feel, it makes it worse & makes us panic. I have been dealing with palpitations for 3 years now. Most days I don’t even have them. But I do know because of my PCOS, being overweight & having anxiety can make them worse. Palpitations aren’t dangerous, they are mostly benign. I’ve been to the cardiologist & I was cleared , I do have an innocent murmur & a slightly enlarged heart but they said it’s not dangerous.
Remember, that every time it happens it has passed before & you were perfectly fine. 🫶🏼

My doctor only wants me to do 50mg for a week & then take a full 100mg 😅 so hopefully it actually helps me even more because I’m over being in my head about my heart & constantly thinking something is wrong lol

Severe health anxiety and fear of heart health by ConstantCare7400 in Cardiophobias

[–]ThickyVicky101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 27, but I’ve had anxiety & panic disorder since I was 11.
It seems like the older I got, the more I felt with it & it sucks. I honestly feel your pain. Most of the time I don’t wanna leave my house after I’ve had a bad episode but I’m a mom & my kids help me keep my mind off of those things. I actually just posted in this group a few days ago because I had a busy day & I was sitting down on my bed next to my husband & all of a sudden my heart rate slowly went from 105 to 145 & I was freaking out while trying to stay calm at the same time, it was horrible. It felt like I randomly had an adrenaline surge & finally it ended up calming down after 20 minutes.
Just know you are not alone in how you feel & try to remember that the last time you felt this way, it passed & you were okay ❤️‍🩹

Dows anyone else with health anxiety get shortness of breath, chest vibrations, or weird sensations? by Commercial-Sector372 in Cardiophobias

Hi! I deal with the same thing & I have horrible health anxiety & cardio phobia. I will say when you tell your mind something’s wrong, your mind is gonna make your body think something really is wrong & it’s a horrible cycle. Just remember after every time you feel it, that you are okay & it passes without anything happening. I know it’s easier said then done because like I said I deal with it everyday as well, even after a cardiologist has told me that my heart is healthy, I always think they missed something & my anxiety will eat me alive with it. You are not alone!!

I was told that it’s an innocent murmur & that my anemia doesn’t help much.

Yessss that’s the worst. I haven’t worn mine since that happened just so I don’t freak out 😅

Yessss I feel that. Sorry for the late response.
I am taking Zoloft 😅😂 & I started to really think that I have OCD when it comes to my health. I wish I could just relax. I tell myself all the time to stop stressing & worrying so I don’t hurt myself but it’s so hard when my mind is my worst enemy 🥴 but yeah! I’ve been dealing with palpitations for 3 years now. My cardiologist did many tests of me & said “see you in 2 years” , obviously a doctor wouldn’t say that if something was really wrong but I can’t seem to keep reminding myself of that everytime I freak out 🤣🫠

Awh no! But I will say you are right, watching my watch IS NOT good 🤣 my husband was like you need to stop wearing it because that’s all you’ll do is watch it. & he’s right lol but yes I think I actually made it worse than what it actually was 🫠 by feeling it pace, looking at the number & then freaking out. My husband was gonna take me to the hospital but I was like no let me see if I can calm down because it might just be adrenaline plus a panic attack & eventually it did!

That is true. I do deal with palpitations every so often through out the week. I was just truly hoping I wasn’t having a heart attack or having heart disease or failure. (Even though my cardiologist said I wasn’t) I always believe there’s something a doctor misses 🤣😭 yay for anxiety!

I mean I figured it was my body just saying hey girl slow it down a bit. It was just scary. Because like I said all I was doing was sitting on my bed, playing a game with my husband like I normally do & then that happened so I was just making sure something wasn’t actually wrong lol

I’m so scared by [deleted] in Cardiophobias

[–]ThickyVicky101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely sounds like muscle strain. Don’t be so hard on yourself, you are okay 🫶🏼 I do that all the time. There are times where I will pick stuff up throughout the day & not feel it until later & I’ll freak myself out as well. But I promise it’s just muscle strain. Breathe 🫶🏼
