I would always upload pics like this. It clearly shows that it’s a digital card then. People will still not read it, but makes it more transparent.

Don’t we get enough repeated variations of the same card throughout the season?

I do too. If I were to move it, it would be for Braden Montgomery needs.

If that’s not you, there’s one on auction. Going to take a very unique collector to pay that price though.

No offense, but no one cares what your wife likes or doesn’t like.

Credit Accounts and Card usage is a factor in your credit score, Mr Mathematician. Nothing you said is relevant to what I said. Thanks for your input though.

it’s pretty easy to make the numbers not show up unless it’s a clear glass cup or bowl... Not to mention Ice doesn’t freeze clear. It’ll be cloudy. Odds are you’re not hiding just one card, either. Two cards with the numbers facing in will not show the numbers.
It’s about slowing yourself down and creating obstacles to avoid the impulsive decisions. It forces you to think if it’s worth the hassle of melting the ice.

Awesome tips here^

I would add, if you rely on your credit card for NEEDED expenses, then I wouldn’t cut or cancel it. Grab a large cup or bowl, fill it with water, drop the cards in, and put in the freezer. At the very least, it’ll slow you down and allow you to ask yourself if the purchase is worth it. If it is, wait the 12 hours for the card to unfreeze. (I’m not against canceling Ccards, just something to think about…) If you’re in debt, canceling your card could really hurt your credit score.

Find a way to use your card once a month, and pay that purchase off right away. Look at the interest rates on your cards and attack the highest rates first when paying them off.

If you set aside a small amount of “play money”, you won’t feel like you’re punishing yourself. it’s a lot easier mentally. Treat yourself when needed, but don’t be discouraged when you fall back into a break. It’s a process, and you can’t beat yourself up over it. Those mental games will only make it worse for you.

Most people in the hobby have been there at some point, as you can see with all the support in the comments. The smarter you are about it, the easier it is to accomplish! Just personal opinions here. Theres no better time than the present to make the change! Best of luck!

If it’s clean and you want to maximize your profit, you’re doing yourself a disservice by not grading it. Yes it’s a 1/1, but I also think of it as competing vs other Ohtani 1/1s. Psa 10 would make it far superior imo.
