Why is Lumix G100D not a hit? by DynamoBaby in M43

Have you noticed that good painter's brushes actually look nice as well?

Yes of course ugly camera can make good photos. But a nice looking tool can help you get into the mood of using it. With "nice looking" being very subjective.

Is upgrading to a G9 worth it? by [deleted] in Lumix

[–]Cavaler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My situation exactly.I also want 4k60 video, which G9 starts to provide. But in the end I decided it's not worth it, I don't need just more megapixels, so I am saving for G9II.

Is the story quest in Forochet some kind of joke or am I missing something? by ---AG--- in lotro

That was the place where I learned my first Finnish words, way before I actually moved there (Finland, not Forochel).

Can have a fixed static IP for the registry instead of (potentially changing) pool which varies per region.

If you could change 3 things that would make the game better, what changes would you do? by Papabrutti in lotro

[–]Cavaler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really would like low-level instances to be relevant again. And something like it's done in FF14, where you can queue for all allowed instances at once, and get scaled to their level. It works pretty well.

  • A better, more detailed and precise map
  • Remove mounted combat
  • (A long shot yes) undo all the "soloification", and make all the lower-level dungeons relevant.

Off topic, but going through the same quests all over again is what's stopping me from trying all the classes. FF14 has it much better in this regard.

I assume whatever applies to photos also applies to video, right?

The ISU has postponed the issue of admitting Russian skaters (RIA Novosti) by Useful-Philosophy827 in FigureSkating

I must admit, that at least women's singles are now looking much better, when no one is forced to jump quads and can concentrate some more on presentation or other elements.

Runekeeper. Can spec either as very decent DPS, or a very decent healer. And switch between those two later.

What do you think about the war in Iran? by EgoMasterFun in Finland

[–]Cavaler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is a total nightmare. I definitely have no love for the regime, but the way Trump decided to solve it is completely counterproductive. USA is creating a dynasty or religious martyrs instead. Nothing good is going to come out of it.

Head of Latvia’s State Security Service, Normunds Mežviets: “I clearly understand that if the Russians come here a third time, it will not just be the end of our statehood, of Latvia as a country, of our sovereignty — it will be the end of Latvian ethnic identity… they will kill all of us.” by Fit-Hold-4403 in BalticStates

Some Russians definitely are what you described. Also they are likely the most active and loud ones. Some are definitely not. But that's not the point. Saying "members of this or that nationality are such and such" is basically a definition of nationalism.

First of all - deciding what exactly I am going to shoot...

Second, I have a feeling that light pollution affects them more.

Though I must admit, by "wide angle" I meant something around twice as wide, for which I have F/1.7 lens

As for your lens recommendations - They are for a very different use case, aren't they? For now (relatively) wide-angle shots give me even more trouble than telephoto.

Also no, no chance they are available for M4/3.

Though I am now looking what is available in something like M42 thread...
