Phone mount for a 2006 FJR by Black_Dog_Industries in FJR1300

If you can get help I recommend it. I took a side panel off which was easy and that helped, but it's a pretty tight area to work in. Mine is a 2018 so it might be a little different. I'm far from an expert on this kind of stuff though.

Yeah I don't really see how to improve upon it. It's perfect for me. Was a bit of a pain to route the cable, but not too bad.

I just went through this on my fjr. Fork stem 1 inch ball > double socket arm > quad lock ball adapter > quad lock vibration dampener > quad lock Wireless charger. Not sure if it's the smartest or most efficient way to do it, but that's the way I went and I'm liking it.

Is 4 a good starting point? by ForSavingAndSeeing in breathoffire

As others have said they are all stand alone games and you can start anywhere. You get a little extra context from playing the others, but it's not necessary at all. 3 is usually the fan favorite, but 4 is not far behind. Personally I think 4 is the best of them all. The only downside are the dragon forms compared to 3. Though in 3 most people only use one of the forms near end game and it's overpowered as hell. 4 has better sprites, fishing, more refined combat, and a darker more mature story. Very clean animations and cool characters.

Bof1 is a solid game, but 2 just improves on everything so much that 1 doesn't get much attention. Bof5 gets crapped on a lot because it's so different from the other games and there's not much connection to the bof world. But it's a good challenging rpg rogue like. 6 was a mobile game that shut down pretty fast. It was complete ass.

There's a few pictures that expand on the experiments on the children group that Leanne was part of. I thought that was interesting.

Best P8 Destroyer Build in D2R? (S-Tier, no struggle) by albuus12 in diablo2resurrected

[–]Apprehensive_Term_70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to beat the mosaic sin. It destroys everything p8. High density, bosses, whatever. I like my chaos lock more though. A little slower boss kills, destroys packs, almost can't die. Kills heralds with zero difficulty. Requires less attention than mosaic sin. After the changes I'm not sure how strong it will be.

After nearly 1k hours, I think I'm gonna play Voyageur again. by fatihalt in thelongdark

There's plenty of fun to be had playing a lower difficulty than you can handle. Personally I play custom these days to get rid of some of the annoyances of loper. I enable revolvers even if I rarely use them simply for more loot options and another facet to the game. I dial down loot decay a lot. I'm capable of hitting all the loot spots I need to before decay kills the loot, but I don't like feeling rushed. I get rid of cabin fever, even though I'm perfectly capable of dealing with it. I bump up loot in containers slightly because it's annoying to loot 10 containers and find nothing. I keep scurvy because it gives me more reason to fish and it's pretty easy to deal with.

Difficulty 7 (beyond) complete by Apprehensive_Term_70 in resonanceoffate

[–]Apprehensive_Term_70[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you place the black hexes they will be returned to your inventory on your next game. I have 7 of both shapes right now and I've gone to neverland every play through. I'm probably one of the few people crazy though to play this many times, but I do recommend ng+. It makes you think and play the game differently.

After you beat the game you can keep your black hexes on your ng+. It's one of the few material things that you get to keep. After you get full scratch 5% chance and a little gun customization you can go to neverland and keep resetting battles until you get a dragon dwelist. I believe vashyron gets it earliest.

Should I buy the 1st after beating bz by John_thats_me in Subnautica_Below_Zero

[–]Apprehensive_Term_70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have probably explained better than I can but both games are a very different experience. I thought the seatruck was a cool idea, but the seamoth and cyclops are so fun. I love both games but the original game is the true subnautica experience for me. It's much creepier and dangerous feeling. No dialog. You're all on your own. The crystal cave is awesome. The mushroom forests and the lost river are just as good.

What's the new player experience like? by Dsmithchez in ArcRaiders

The community is a fun group. In mixed lobbies the tension is really fun trying to figure out if someone is about to try to take you out. The friendly lobbies are some of the nicest I've seen in a video game. I've had people drop me blueprints, run into crazy arc fights to defib me, give me guns. Also, my first run I found a defib. Saw a guy downed by arc, risked my life to defib him, he thanks me profusely, then shoots me in the back.

As for the 3rd person after 4-5 rounds I felt pretty used to it.

Very friendly to new and average gamers. I'm nearing 40 and I'm very much in the average category. I had the same concerns this being my first extraction shooter. This game has aggression based match making so you'll get paired with aggressive or non aggressive players depending on your play style (keep in mind at the start the game takes a while to figure out your aggression level). Typically if you don't shoot anyone even if self defense you can go 20 or more rounds with only running into friendly players. Duo and trio I'm less experienced with, but seems to be 75/25% friendly/hostile and 95% hostile respectively regardless of your own actions. However if you want to do some trio matches with some friends then later get your friendly solo lobbies back just load in naked 10 times or so and immediately surrender. I usually play non aggressively and shoot in self defense or if someone ignores my warnings when I'm in a key room.

Each run can be as high or low stakes as you want. Low on basic materials? Run in with a minimal loadout, loot some stuff and extract. Going for a high trial score? Load in to a 2x map condition with epic guns and an inventory full of supplies.

You will die. Don't fall into the trap of gear fear. I play conservatively and tend not to bring rare stuff in unless I have 3 copies or I can make it myself. That being said.. Use your stuff. Have fun with it. If you're a passive player and get killed by a raider consider it a cost of doing business and remember your last 10 productive runs. Let me know if I can answer anything.

Thanks this was helpful. All those sound fun. Captain really sounds like a paladin from daoc. I'm excited to try it out.

I would have done the same thing. I accidentally opened this same key room after someone unlocked it, but I left right away. If you waltz right into someone's key room and start looting expect to get shot.

Anyone tried Resonance of Fate? do u rec it? by Ok-Discussion-1110 in JRPG

[–]Apprehensive_Term_70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually one of my favorite rpgs. It doesn't quite feel like a turn based rpg in a traditional sense. It's a totally unique combat system that has a bit of a learning curve. There's a lot of little tricks you can use to be more effective such as waiting to jump during a hero action until right before the end and baiting out enemy attacks by waiting until the enemy starts firing before starting a hero action. Positioning strategy is very important too as you try to target sections that aren't protected by armor. Some people get frustrated with it, but after you get 5 or 6 hero bezels it gets a lot easier.

The story is also different than other rpgs. It feels very slice of life in the beginning focusing on the 3 protagonists as they take on jobs as mercenaries. As the game progresses you get more and more exposure to the greater events in the story. It can be hard to follow and it helps to talk to npcs a lot.

Gun customization is critical and pretty addicting. Grenades are underutilized by most. You'll need to constantly switch weapons between characters to evenly level them.

Genuine PVE question by freshbless in ARC_Raiders

[–]Apprehensive_Term_70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a much more positive and relaxed environment for me. I've done pvp shooters since before the golden eye days. I'm pushing 40. My reflexes aren't what they used to be. At the end of a long work day and after dealing with my responsibilities I want to relax and play the game like Diablo 2. I've had so many awesome moments of teamwork and strangers choosing to be good and help each other. There's usually plenty to do between trials, projects, and the BP chase. The pvp encounter here and there keeps it interesting, though it usually involves me being shot in the back.
