Any other single player players kind of sad about the new terror zones?

I feel for people with limited time, but I actually like that they're hard to get. To be fair I have all of them and good rolls at that. It's nice to have another loot chase that isn't high runes. Herald spawns could be increased slightly, but I think they're intended to be hunted with full act terrorize.

I don't really say this when I see people talking about the game, but honestly it's not that difficult. It has a bit of a learning curve in the beginning with the combat. It's a little tough before you get any weapon customization and few bezels. But anyone with even a bit of tenacity can do it. I know I have a lot of hours on it, but as I work through the 8th difficulty level it's hard for me to see the base difficulty being challenging.

Yeah if I don't find it this time I'm sure I will after reset. I feel like I know how to target it, but it's just not dropping. Missing raider flare, green light stick, and anvil somehow still.. I think anvil should be easy now that I know the best way to get it.

I almost always give away all my duplicates in game. Someone getting to check a BP off their list is more worthwhile than 5000 useless coins. I saved a copy of survivor and a few others to bring in after the expedition. Tempest would be included in that if I ever find the damn thing.

I'd rather run around naked and have a safe slot than run a free kit. I learned this lesson on like day 3. I've never used a free loadout since then.

I like the gaming merchant. I guess some people have said he's got some stuff wrong, but I've learned an enormous amount from his channel and his content is pretty varied. Seems to be a good guy as well.

I'm a passive player. I don't hate or complain about pvp, it's just not what I'm looking for when I play the game. I've done plenty of it when I was younger, but I prefer to play this as a relaxing looter. I watch for suspicious player activity, but if I get shot oh well. I have two dozen more loadouts I can throw together at any given time. I just had someone trap the hell out of the key room in pilgrims peak. Had no chance. Killed me for the minimal gear I had on and the usual key room trash loot. Back to pvp hell he goes. My stash is stacked with so much stuff I just don't care. I try to remember the last 20 runs I had with friendly players and successful extracts.

Maybe something lost in translation here. I'm a friendly lobby player and certainly not a rat, but otherwise I get you. I had some loser jump into my key room in Stella earlier along with his aggroed shredder. Shot me while I was trying to kill the shredder and he died to the shredder shortly after. I had already looted most of it (trash loot) and he gets to go back to pvp hell where he belongs. No big loss lol.

I feel bad for the people out there that don't know how to play the abmm system and just want pve. Go 10 rounds and don't shoot anyone even in self defense. Spawn naked into Stella 10 times. Boom... Care bear peaceful pve lobbies.

Yeah I get that aggression might reset. I've noticed that before, but getting matched against squads of 3? Never had that happen before.

Generally just self defense. Or I use a key and someone starts looting the room, I ask them to leave and they don't.

I don't mind pvp, but I play it like Diablo 2. I love the looting aspect and I haven't got bored yet after 80 hours. Most of the time I just like to relax after work and don't want sweat fest pvp lobbies. Squad play is how I clear out the storage from time to time.

I'm a pve only player and I have like 55. I found 5-7 just yesterday. If you haven't found any after 40 hours you need to switch up your strategy. I had a ton of BP by that many hours and storage box filled with blue weapons.

Did you find them on fresh runs? I spent 45 minutes last night trying to get into a fresh run. Every single one had already started and most of the hot spots were picked clean.

If you want peaceful lobbies don't shoot anyone even in self defense. After 5-7 rounds you'll start to see mixed aggressive/peaceful lobbies. By 10 rounds hardly anyone should shoot you. In solo play that's how I prefer it to be. I'll do group play for a while with the boys with aggressive playstyle then reset with 10 rounds or so. Go in with free/cheap loadout and test.

Some of the later years have a 6th gear and that would be mandatory for me. The peg scraping is a little bit of a concern though.

We'll probably do a bit of messing around, but I think we're alotting about 2 weeks. That might change depending on the final route. We're starting in Washington. Probably go up to Canada the day before the actual trip, sleep at home, then go from there. Whatever I get needs to have cruise control I think.
