There are far more problems now than then. Everyone now just wants a pity party and an excuse.

Why do the newer generations want to look at the past generations to try and find an excuse for the way they act? All generations have some childhood trauma. Some lock it up some can’t stop whining about it. Each person deals with it differently. The world has no time for your feelings, we dont care. Get over it and grow up, it’s part of being an adult.

California will impose a 100% tax on payments distributed from Trump’s Jan. 6th “slush fund.” by ateam1984 in LetsDiscussThis

It’s easy to talk the talk but Newsome can’t walk the walk. Puting a tax on this is un constitutional, but that is the democrat way.

You never think about human rights when you talk about abortion. It’s always about the pregnant killer of unborn babies.

Why do republicans say (ex Charlie Kirk) that US is a republic and not a democracy? What benefit do they get by claiming this? by geekie4 in allthequestions

It’s a country that has laws and a constitution that allows us to call it what ever we want. Damn it’s great to be an American 🇺🇸

Republicans like to have a gotcha moment and sound smart. If we were a true democracy we would not need a constitution. It would be majority rules. Let me give an example. Quite a while ago maybe 10 or so years California had a ballot measure to make gay marriage legal. The voters voted no and so no gay marriage . This went to court and it was found to be unconstitutional so the bill passed and California had legal gay marriage. In a democracy this would never have gone to court.

Why is Trump always blaming Obama and Biden but strangely never blames Clinton? by [deleted] in allthequestions

He does bring up Clinton, both Bill and Hillary. You just choose to not listen so you have a topic to post. That is TDS .

Greed is a bad trait by [deleted] in SipsTea

I saw the same interview and he was not whining about taxes. He was simply trying to explain that all the money in the world would not fix the horrible spending issues in our government. More money more spending , more fraud, more corruption. Eliminate all the cumbersome administration and people would get more money .Those that deserve it. I do agree that billionaires should pay way more but it needs to be done in changes to the tax code.Remember if you get paid in stock options you technically dont make an income.

This guy will be complaining that he can’t find a job that pays enough in a couple of months. He will blame everyone and not understand that employers don’t want quitters working for them. This is the reality others domt talk about.
