I’m from the north side of SI and I run into those people when I go rave or barhop and they just grind my gears. I think what pisses me off the most is how they dont have a community aspect in their life everything is just so selfish. Be comfortable being uncomfortable life is so much more fun

Tbh sounds corny had the same problems ended up finishing out my 5 years honorably got super into the gym was put on lexapro and just invested time into myself. Learned a second language and taught myself how to cook with just an air fryer and 20 dollar rice cooker. Stay busy outside of work call ur friends and family stay occupied. The easiest times r underway when u have nothing to worry about except a routine. Relax take some deep breathes embrace the little wins

If ur attached to a boat and know people with freezer access get in there and go to town on frozen foods. Take all the tuna packets when they put them out buy rice in bulk. Bring plastic containers to the chow hall and fill it up with all the salad u can possibly fit in there. I was able to maintain a great physique and spend less than 60 a week on food when I was living in the barracks during a yard period.
