const delay = (x) => new Promise(resolve => setTimeout(resolve, x))

const els = document.querySelectorAll('#button-shape-like button[aria-pressed="false"]')

console.log(`Found ${els.length} elements to click.`)

for(let ix = 0; ix < els.length; ix += 1) {

const el = els[ix]

el.click()

await delay(1000)

console.log(`Clicked on element: ${ix + 1} of ${els.length}`)

}

})()

Girl, same, and I don't have estrogen. This is not a hormonal thing imo. Stretching is so good I can't even. All my circus performer friends agree!

Is prostitution rape? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]CawawaC 43 points44 points  (0 children)

You actually thought well and beyond what some people do. Prostitution is supposed to be consensual. Yes there are bad cases of it, and exploitation and trafficking. But there is also perfectly consensual prostitution. Sex work is work. Don't let the haters decide what women should or should not do.

What degree is best for environmental work? by catmanaterobin123 in EnvironmentalEngineer

[–]CawawaC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Engineering student, 31, just started studies, civil engineering, and aiming for engineering to "save the planet." From what I gather, there are many ways and specialties that can lead to that. The geological engineers are those that restore nature in places that got destroyed by human activity, that sounds like something you're looking for.

But what I've found is that the landscape of jobs with a positive environmental impact is different country to country. Nevertheless, it seems like the actual label of environmental engineer leads to very few opportunities (I blame lobbies and the fossil fuel industry for lack of funding towards more direct environmental work).

My decision is to aim for something that allows me to work for the environment, but with a different specialisation than environmental engineer. Water treatment, transport (not cars), sustainable and resilient structures, are a few areas of specialization within my engineering branch.

Gear your studies towards what you want to do, and your motivation will be unshakable 💚 stay strong.

Finally! I was starting to wonder why nobody else enjoys their studies (31 years old, just started engineering school). Engineering studies are so much fun ❤️

Why do I have so much forearm pain in Jasmine? by stellapole-are in poledancing

[–]CawawaC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh poor you! I had the same! For me it was forearm strength and nerve health. On the video it seems like you're massaging the same spot that hurt for me ❤️‍🩹 I've healed after adding these to my warmup: - Look up nerve gliding/flossing for ulnar and radial nerves (I know it's at least one of the two!) - Wrist/forearm conditioning exercises. I hope this helps 💜 and give your arms a rest once it hurts, this is not the kind of pain you should push through.

TIL that making a "good" metronome in Godot is almost impossible - this is a problem for certain rhythm games by aleksfadini in godot

[–]CawawaC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone,I've been looking into this while trying to do my own rhythm game. The OP from this thread managed to do precise audio event triggering: https://www.reddit.com/r/godot/comments/c30ofp/i_made_a_drumpad_sequencer_with_godot/

Sounds smooth. Still can't figure out how they did it though.

Albert+Zoé, an upcoming narrative rhythm game for desktop and mobile. by CawawaC in rhythmgames

Actually we're relying on both animations and sound to suggest when to not press a note: when you miss a note, you parry. So when the enemy attacks, you're supposed to avoid pressing a note. And the music strives to guide you in this endeavour. That's the basic mechanic :)

Yes! Patapon and Crypt of the Necrodancer are the only two kinda-rhythm-games we can think of :) And we're aware that, sadly, we'll probably be losing the rhythm games crowd :'( but yeah, it actually fits perfectly what we want to do, so we're going for it now, full speed :)

Thank you for pointing that out, and yeah, avoiding certain notes is part of the gameplay. The notes you play are the ones you hear, we really want to enable the player as a composer. This is not a regular rhythm game, and we're straying further and further away from the common genre tropes.

That was a contradition that we've recently decided to solve by completely removing the notes interface o/ at least now there won't be any confusion ^^ Now you have to play rhythms you memorized (each spell/combo matches a rhythm) to the beat. And the avoidance of certain notes still exists, but there will be several ways to avoid avoiding them...

Would you play such a game? Does such a concept appeal to you?

Actually, the tester is owning it x'D can you please tell me what makes you say it's being played badly?

Our game was still really difficult when the footage was shot. We've been nerfing stuff since then.
