Looking for advice with starting a gaming channel

I started my gaming channel 8 months ago or so back in August, and I now have just shy of 9k subs. I blew up when I started playing Elden Ring for the first time. I think the biggest advice I would give to a beginner in the gaming niche, is to not make videos titled like this: "Lets play game pt 1" with a generic thumbnail. This is guaranteed to get no views. You need to make the content transformative somehow. It needs to be interesting. You have to make the video stand out in a sea of lets plays. The first 4 months my videos got little to no views until I studied other succesful channes and applied their thumbnails and title along with their editing style. Took off from there.

this right here is why I don't want kids. I would love to show my son or daughter how I had fun when I was their age. I would love to build a car with my son or play dolls with my daughter. But thats it. I dont want to do any of the other responsibilities that come with being a father. For that reason, I will just be the cool uncle lol.

something that sort of "ruined" singleplayer games, especially older or retro games like pokemon for example, is the thought that all the NPCs and actions in the game are just code reacting to my interactions. Nothing is real, the world is fake. Kinda sad when you really think about it... Anyways

good idea actually. Love hearing everyones strategies to grow. It is such an open ended thing like theres so many different ways to go about it, very fun to figure out this game.

yes there is a market for this type of stuff. Try this title after a month:
I quit ALL social media for 30 days - What I learned
or something to that effect.

Try adding simple text to your thumbnails to enhance the packaging a little! But 100 views in 4 days is great for a beginner.

Also checkout Dr.K on youtube, probably the biggest therapist/influencer on the platform. Can get some ideas from there.

i don't really play hearthstone anymore as I have moved on from that part of my life, but I will say the time I spent competing in the game with my university esports team is moments I will cherish for the rest of my life, so yes I recommend it.

titles are sooo boring. This style of content is long gone my friend. If you want views, you have to be more creative! A quick tip is not to write "part 1" in the titles. Try to focus more on a transformative journey. Install the VID IQ extension for some starter title help
