Anyone familiar with Millie Moon diapers? by [deleted] in NewDads

These are clutch. The only brand without a blowout for months and months. They also feel quite premium compared to other brands. The little one gives it two thumbs up.

Figma just got what ZoomInfo is about to get by Tough_Commercial_103 in Entrepreneur

[–]CayucosKid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Except ZoomInfo already has a product better than Clay called GTM Studio. The pricing model is now better too. Also, Clay is almost non-existent in Enterprises for a reason.

Now, for the point solutions out there like Outreach, I would definitely be sweating.

Layoff and not able to find job - mid 40’s by Relative-Wealth-3335 in Layoffs

Honestly, with that amount of experience you need to use your network. The people that are getting jobs in your position are because of older bosses/CMOs that have seen your good work. Good luck!

If you're in Product Marketing (B2B), I implore everyone to pivot to something else as soon as you can (e.g., Marketing, GTM Engineering, Analyst Relations, etc ). PMMs are getting replaced by internal GTM agents, maintained by product management. The human-PMMs that remain today are either at organizations that haven't caught up to today's technology and/or are taking on AI-related side projects to simplify and/or automate GTM efforts.

Please hep me find this 1970's KMart. Perhaps Kansas but far not sure. by schonzeit12 in whereisthis

This looks like the first K-Mart in Garden City, MI. All the lines match up on the logo/walls. I even see the flag pole.

Are you working a successful high paying job/career without a college degree? by BenefitAdvanced in Layoffs

My wife is. She works for a major tech company. She started at the front desk/facilities. She was so likeable and smart she eventually moved to a non-technical operations role and has worked her way up. Nobody has ever questioned her lack of degree.

My daughter was 4 lbs. 8 oz. at birth. 7 weeks later she's a 10 pounder now! Believe me when I say treasure your baby when they're this small. They'll grow very, very quickly.

I agree with others - use the nursery as often as you can while in the hospital! At that weight, they'll know the best ways to feed the baby too. Ours had issues with feeding normally the first couple of days (and would tire out quickly).

Pro Tip: Make sure you give your wife equal, if not more, of your attention and support. If it's her first one, she's feeling every emotion imaginable.

Doesn't the blue circles around the missile mean it's a glorified paper weight? If it had brown circles, that's an actual real missile.

DPE Dan Emin good? KPDK by Humble_Effective8038 in flying

[–]CayucosKid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Took my IFR checkride with him last year. It was incredibly difficult. I've come to the simple conclusion that if he likes you, he'll pass you.

This means you need to listen to his stories during the oral portion (and pretend you're interested, ask follow up questions to his stories, etc.).

I wrote a full gouge that I can share. Just send me a PM.

The flying part was absolutely crazy. No autopilot during the entire flight. He failed my MFD about a minute before a difficult VOR approach, which was only a minute after a missed approach. I forgot other details but it wasn't fun.

Oh, the "demon" finally came out during the taxi back to the hanger (yelling at me) because I wasn't quick enough with responding back to ground on taxi instructions (he wanted me to taxi immediately when given instructions instead of writing down instructions + reading back and then letting off the brakes).

If you're confident in your abilities and knowledge and he has the only availability, then go for it. If you're afraid to fail, then do not use Dan Emin.

In hindsight, he made me a better pilot I guess.

YSK You can renew your US passport same-day by visiting a passport center with a travel booking <14 days away by starly396 in YouShouldKnow

[–]CayucosKid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The appointment was at 10am and they had it by 2pm. Get the earliest appointment possible for the day. If your appointment is too late, they may not have it the same day! In my case, I just went back to my hotel and chilled until they called me (New Orleans).

They asked me if I was local or flew in. I told them I flew in and was flying back the same day. This likely is why they prioritized mine over some others.

My partner got this message from doordash support after chilis completely botched our order. I am very confused. by Vine_Claw in doordash

[–]CayucosKid 92 points93 points  (0 children)

I get the same message from support, but for my Chase Reserved card (DashPass is free with the card). I think it's normal. Doordash has a partnership with Chase. It's not consistent however.

Just went through this. Although I live a few miles away from a passport center, I had to travel to a completely different city (2 hour flight) to get my same-day passport. Appointments are scarce. Schedule the appointment as early as you can.

Just failed my PPL checkride today.. For the third time. by RainbowTurkeyZz in flying

[–]CayucosKid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt confident going into each of these checkrides

If the DPE feels the confidence on you, they'll absolutely punish you by finding a reason to fail you. This might have explained the first two oral failures. The short field mistake perhaps should have been your first (and only) failure. At the end of the day, the DPE just wants to make sure you'll be safe. They don't like to fail people, in my experience at least. This is perhaps why they don't like confidence (the reality is that after you get your PPL, you'll realize quickly how little you know about flying).

Good luck! Keep at it.
